Dr. Nelson was extremely rude and condescending when I went to him after my stroke. He yelled at me when I tried to explain that I wasn't crazy and I knew something was wrong. I hadn't received my MRI results yet so he didn't believe me that I couldn't remember words, my children etc. He wanted to send me to a psychiatrist. He was not at all understanding or willing to listen to me. I have never, ever been made to feel so incompetent by a physician.

Dr Nelson is a great doctor. He’s very kind, he takes his time and explains everything to you. I’ve had a lot of fear about going into neck surgery soon but he has made me feel so much better about it. I’m not so overwhelmed or dreadful anymore. Dr Nelson also saw my sister years ago and diagnosed her and he was spot on when other doctors either misdiagnosed or had no idea what was wrong with her. He knew on the first visit. I would highly recommended Dr Nelson you will get excellent care.
