Double Mastectomy: I could have gone to Asheville for surgery, but chose Doctor Pratt based on our consultation and referral from my GP. I am thrilled with my decision !Dr Pratt understood my choice to remain flat without reconstruction post DMX. He collaborated with the tumor board to provide the best possible outcome. My surgery was flawless. Far better than women I know who have had a double mastectomy with reconstruction. There were no complications. My scar will be minimal. Prior to the surgery, he answered all my questions: I had many questions about the process and recovery. Lymph node removal, lymphedema, etc.He was extremely patient, and kind. At no point did my confidence in him waiver. We were a team. His assistant-Hope-is delightful.When faced with a life-changing decision such as breast removal, you must make the right choice. I'm happy to say I chose well and I strongly recommend this surgeon.Harris Hospital nurses were also compassionate and competent.

Inguinal Hernia - Dr. Pratt was great!
I had inguinal hernia on my left side. I was nervous about the surgical procedure necessary to repair it. Thankfully, I went with Dr. Pratt to help me. He was patient and kind in answering all of my questions. I never felt rushed or dismissed, as I have with other doctors. Dr. Pratt suggested an open surgery with a mesh to repair the hernia. My surgery went well and I am healing just fine. Thank you for your help, Dr. Pratt!

6 months later I am compelled to provide a review. New to the area I was skeptical about finding a doc for needed procedure. I found Dr. Pratt through my insurance site. Short and sweet: He is all that. Straight up with good responses to some good questions. Very knowledgeable. Communicated very well. Supportive of my natural anxiety. 6 months post surgery my issue is in good order. Thanks
