Does not provide thorough care
I came to the ER begging for an MRI after a motor vehicle accident. I was in extreme pain with a blood pressure of 150/101... I spoke to Dr. Sonnier of my ct results lying as I couldn't believe 'normal whiplash' could hurt so bad. I explained that I had previous injury to that area of my neck. He then observed my ct results and put on my chart 'wasn't even sure if they were actually her test results..'He did not even examine me but charted that he did. He basically called me a frequent flier and would not order an MRI as 'we only do emergency MRIs on Sunday' like I'm supposed to know that already. He has already decided that I did not deserve any pain management or imaging and said 'I don't think you will be satisfied with any care, I'll be back later to give my name so you can complain.'I did get that MRI thankfully and turns out every single disc in my neck is herniated. Thanks so much Doc!! May you have the same compassion in your time of need.
