This man delivered my brother, sister, and myself and the were perfect deliveries. Now he’s my OBGYN and has saved my life 2 times with a miscarriage and a cervical cancer scare. The miscarriage was on Mother’s Day, I believe the worst day you could lose a child on. I was in Omaha Nebraska and they told me that since I was traveling back home the next day that I will survive the ride home to see my doctor in St. Louis. I had large blood clots the size of my hand leaking out. I put on 4 Poise pads and had to stop once every hour to change them. Six hours later I made it to the hospital and they came in and told me that I had a miscarriage and the baby was still in there and I had to have a D&C. I had the best care I could receive. You gotta admit that he’s a life saver???????????may God continue to bless your hands Dr. Ekunno, thank you so much for making me feel better about keeping up with my health

1 C-section, 12 VBACs
May 1984, 39 years ago, at 35 weeks pregnant, I flew to St. Louis for my brother’s wedding. A few hours later, I lost my mucus plug, had a bloody show and fluid began to slowly leek. Light labor began that night, so in the morning I called DePaul hospital. As an out of town patient from Oklahoma, Dr. Ekunno was assigned to me. I was happy to hear all the nurses and staff spoke highly of him. Since baby was breech, a C-section was performed that morning and our beautiful firstborn daughter was born. Thanks for your help, Dr. Ekunno! My C-section was a snap! In the following years, my husband and I produced 12 more children, and all 12 of them were born in Oklahoma, naturally, 12 VBAC’s (Vaginal Births After Cesarean)! All are grown now and doing great!! I do remember Dr. Ekunno recommended an IUD at my follow-up, which was bad advice for me. Glad I didn’t listen to him! Happy Mother of 13! Gigi to 15 so far! Jeannie Buckingham Keller, Texas

Dr. Ekunno is very personable. He truly cares about his patients. He makes sure that his patients get the very best possible care. He cared for me during my last pregnancy, gave me valuable advice, and delivered my son . He is a consummate professional, always available, always answering any and all questions you may have. I was quite happy while in his care. I was his patient for over 20 years and have always held him in a high regard because of his expertise and kind nature. He would always schedule my Mammograms before I left his office and would call me personally if there was anything we needed to discuss.

Dr. Ekunno used a DaVinci surgical device on me without my consent or knowledge. I experienced complications such that my bowels fell into, and adhered to, my vaginal cuff. I had major repair surgery and was hospitalized as a result of him not warning me of the complications. He also did not find this condition on my follow-up appointments. He is Chief of OB/GYN for Christian Hospital, and they did not require he get my consent to use the robotic device. Look it up on CaseNet Missouri. Negligent
