Modern Bladder Treatment for Women
This branch office of UR is currently (4/22) located on the South side of Ellicott St, but may be relocating to a newly built building, here in Batavia. I found Dr. Joy Michaelides to be a capable, experienced Urologist who has a pleasant bedside manner. She performs the helpful Btx for bladders treatment for urinary incontinency for women, plus evaluates and treats many other urology conditions for both men and women. The office entrance is barrier free. U of R offers a patient portal. Recommended physician.

Dr. Michaelides simply put is a beautiful human being. Her bedside manor is the best I have ever experienced in my life. She was very friendly, explained everything clearly and assured me that I wasn't alone in what I was dealing with. Post-surgery, I am feeling much much better. I would recommend Dr. Michaelides to absolutely anyone. Now I just wish other specialists would follow her prototype example!

Dr. Michaelides is a great doctor. She is always very friendly and spends time with you. She explains not only what the problem is but comes up with a plan on how to deal with it. I will put all my faith in her as a doctor and a health care provider.

16 year old male told he had no inflammation noted on cystoscopy though surgeon said there was. Told he had chronic pelvic pain syndrome and had to live with urinary pain for the rest of his life-perhaps 70 years. Pediatrician said this isn't a thing in kids. Put him on short course steroids which she refused to do. No more pain. Will not return to joy.
