Dr. Joyce Chams, MD

I had a terrible experience. After finding fibroids in uterus they wanted to schedule an operation to remove. I was told they would call to schedule. They did call and left a message and I had not yet called them back. Soon after I got paper work that said I was scheduled for the top of that next week. I never agreed to the date nor the operation. I called and said you need to cancel and then they wanted to charge me about $500 to cancel since it was less than a week away. I explained that I NEVER set or agreed to the operation or that date. Unbelievable, but that is why I say watch out.

I happened across this page and saw the review for Dr Joyce Chams. I was completely shocked! I have been going to Dr Chams for at least 15 years! Now both my daughters go to her as well. She is the best! I don’t understand these reviews at all. The staff is wonderful, on the phone and in person, from scheduling appointments, asking questions, and leaving messages for the doctor. Dr Chams always takes her time in my appointment, makes me feel comfortable, is thorough, listens, answers all my questions, and encourages me to call with any future questions or concerns. And she calls back! I feel she is very good at what she does, is extremely knowledgeable and kind. She has a lab right in the office which is very convenient and also has her own ultrasound. The ultrasound tech, Robert, is also wonderful and very good at what he does. I would absolutely recommend Dr Joyce Chams, and have many times!

Very thorough. This is the first time anyone has taken a urine sample from me in years (including my GP at my annual physicals). I never feel rushed
