Dr. Joyce Restad, DO

Dr Restad has been my primary care doctor for several years, and what I like most about her is that she actually listens to me when I talk to her about my symptoms and what I am experiencing. Good listening is one of the most important qualities a doctor can have, and she definitely takes my comments seriously. Dr. Restad is also very knowledgeable and careful about checking out all the various possible causes for any symptoms.

Off the wall comments, I thought are inappropriate. She doesn't care or anything, if you're in pain. She will lie through her teeth to make you look bad to other doctors. Just save your insurance and time and don't see her. She is extremely unhappy all the time.

Dr. Restad was my mother’s doctor. Although my mother is dead, I feel strongly about the wonderful way in which she was taken care of by Dr. Restad. Dr. Restad treated her kindly and with respect, while other doctors my mother had patronized her because of her age. Dr. Restad made sure she had appropriate medications and followed up promptly when necessary. I have no reservations in recommending Dr Restad and would use her myself if I lived in the area.

Ellen was not available so I saw Joyce. BAD decision. She makes weird comments, very awkward, not knowledgeable. On top of that kept trying to push pain meds on me even after I said no multiple times. Will never schedule with her again

Not much confidence in this doctor. She made comments that were bizarre and didn't seem to be interested in addressing my health concerns. Ellen Lentz was not available, so I had to see Dr. Restad. The office never called back to give me the results of my blood tests, and when I called and spoke with her, she said they were probably bad. What? When I finally heard back from them, my results were normal. Will never go back. The receptionist (Heidi, I think) was very rude a few different times.
