Dr. Juan Jimenez, MD

Hé performed a supposedly minimally invasive Rezum for the prostate that has been one of the most disruptive, painful procedures I have gone through. Three weeks later I am still unable to resume a normal life such as going out for a lunch or to a movie because of an incessant need to urinate. His staff inserted a catheter that leaked profusely and then a second with the same result, so that I was soaked in urine round the clock for ten days. At my post-procedure office visit he seemed very surprised and prescribed a medicine that helped until I completed taking it. I literally spelled the address of the pharmacy I use and they sent the prescription to the wrong pharmacy. I asked him via MyChart for a renewed medication 48 hours ago and it has not yet been read. You can’t reach his staff because they literally do not answer their phones — 18 minutes to one of his offices today and 28 minutes to the other, unanswered.

Dr J helped in a 9&1/2 hour surgery to detach my colon from my bladder. He is very caring and explains everything, including risks of other procedures. He is now working at Cleve Clinic both Hillcrest and Marymount. If you’re seeking a Professional Dr who cares, he is the one! Great urologist are hard to find but I cannot say enough good about him. Thank you for saving my life!

Horrible! Went for a kidney stone removal through the urethra and the stone was not there. Excruciating pain, almost fainted. Never received and explanation, just removal of stent and not consult or follow up. It seems for him it was joke the stone was not there. He called my husband in the phone and explain he could not find any stone. Never spoke to me at all about what went wrong. He did not make a ct scan, just use X-rays showing a possible stone! At the end it was calcification! He took the stent and told me to call him if I have any possible stones. Hell will froze over before I see this doctor again. In addition I am an MS patient and my husband could not come in for the first visit, even though I forget information! Never again. Back at Cleveland clinic!

Dr. Jimenez is an amazing surgeon! His thoroughness caught my cancer early and he and his team removed it with precision. I’m so grateful to have had him at every level of my care. He’s very knowledgeable and explained things to me and my family in a caring and compassionate way that was reassuring during such a scary time.

Dr jimenez listens carefully and presents information that is concise, useful and reassuring. He is very professional with a real personality. Procedures done for me have had outstanding results. I highly recommend this doctor.

Dr. Jimenez is one of the most cheerful people I have ever had the pleasure to meet. He is very upbeat and positive and is someone that initiates confidence in his direction. During the procedure I had in his office, he was very encouraging and reassuring that all was going well and it did. I would recommend Dr. Jimenez to anyone of my family or close friends, knowing they would be in the best of care.

Doctor Jimenez is great doctor I'm so lucky he my doctor he did a great job on my surgery. And ensure me he would take good care of me. I was so nervous he came back after my surgery to see me.

I saw Dr. Jimenez for a very advanced prostate cancer. He is extremely compassionate. He took the time to explain everything to me and my family. We discussed all of my options. I have never had a physician take so much time with me. He is a very brilliant doctor. I am very happy that I found him!

Not so good! I went to Dr. Jimenez looking for a local urologist. If you are looking for arrogance and being dealt with in a condescending manor is what you are looking for this is your guy. He had not received my medical records from my New York urologist but this did not prevent him from a quick diagnosis with no testing, I will not be seeing him again.

I am very pleased with Jimenez. He takes the time to explain everything very clearly. Easy to schedule appointments and reasonable wait times.

I would absolutely recommend Dr. Jimenez. I had a vasectomy without narcotics And I felt no pain. The procedure took less than 45 minutes and the doc played really good music. This was by far the best experience I ever had at the doctors office.
