Dr. Juan Munoz-Gonzalez, MD

I agree with the other person calling him erratic. In fact I would probably call Dr Munoz Gonzalez unhinged. He was nice one second and then basically yelling at me the next. Unhinged and hateful…that’s how he came across to me.

Seemed very nice and caring at first but over their patient portal seemed to yell at me in all capitals for requesting assistance with pre-operation paperwork according to what we had discussed in his office, accusing me of trying to get him to do something that was against his medical oath. He also said I hadn’t had an EKG even though his nurse had gotten one. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and tried to remind him of our conversation in his office and that he had the EKG but he reiterated his position in all caps again. Last conversation with him, not going to see him again.

Great experience, anyone know where he went, not at Colonial anymore ?

Great doctor. Very caring and listens to the patient. Always remembers my son and asks how he’s doing as well. Would recommend him to anyone looking for a doctor who truly cares and listens.

Dr. Munoz-Gonzalez is a kind caring doctor...He takes the extra step to show he cares about you. I have already sent him new patients.

If I could give it 10 starts I would give him 11. Dr.Munoz is one of the few of a dying breed of calm, respectful, caring, and the greatest bed side manner you could imagine. It’s hard to find doctors anymore who don’t rush you and see you as a dollar sign and he Genuinely cares about not only your ailments but you as a person. I have been seeing him for a year now and I don’t know what I’m going to do if something happens that he can no longer be my doctor. My favorite thing about dr. Munoz is the way he interacts with me, he talks to me like I’m his best buddy and we have banter back and forth about things in our lives and In the world and we end every visit with an elbow bump lol. If you’re looking for the best doctor in the state of V.A. Then don’t think twice and go to colonial internal medicine associates and ask for dr. Munoz you won’t regret it.

Dr. Munoz,he listen, he is very thorough and explained my health issues in a clear way so I could understand. I am grateful to have such a talented doctor taking such a good care of me. God Bless...

Doctor Munoz-Gonzales has always taken the time to fully explain whatever medical condition I may have, in a clear & friendly way. Excellent bedside manner. Based on my experiences with him for various ailments, he appears very knowledgeable and his treatments have worked with no repeat visits for the same issue. His nurse (Rosa?) is also very friendly and helpful.

I was seen by Dr Munoz and I must say, what a great Doc!

Today was my 1st time appt with Dr. Munoz at his Fredericksburg location. I went in not knowing what to expect as I couldn't find much by way of reviews prior to my visit. Much to my relief I was completely satisfied with him as well as the office staff. Dr. Munoz was very attentive and I did not feel rushed. He took time to listen and he provided eye contact as you spoke with him. I look forward to going back and I fully recommend him to anyone looking for a Dr who really cares
