Very thorough and experienced. I’ve been treated by her for years and years.

Combined medication expert & psychotherapist
Dr. Blitman is a rare breed, combining intensive psychotherapy skills and medication expertise. Her vast experience enables this psychiatrist to quickly grasp and advise on intricate psycho-emotional-social issues. She maintains neutrality & respectfully navigates through relational conflicts in couples/family therapy. Carefully monitors/manages medications through the duality and balance of a strong medical and astute clinical lens. Approach is formal and professional but manner is practical, engaging, and optimistic.

Dr. Blitman was having issues getting paid by my insurance company (UHC). She continued to see me for months despite this. I offered her a number to call to aid with her claims. She refused the number. Instead of asking me for help or taking the number I offered her, she called me and said she was disturbed by my handling of the insurance situation and is going to file a formal complaint about me unless I pay her the full amount she is owed by UHC. I called UHC and fixed the issue in 10 minutes.

If I could give her a zero, I would. The rudest person I've ever met. Abrupt, nasty, and can't be bothered to even handle your prescriptions. She's just nasty. She overprescribed a medication that I'd been on for years that another doctor previously gave me. It was more convenient for her to prescribe the larger dose than handling my insurance to get the smaller dose that I'd been on. What legitimate doctor would OVERPRESCRIBE a medication?? Should have her license revoked. Filthy office.

Incredibly rude doctor! I called her office twice with no answer. She called back, told me that I was disturbing her by trying to call "so many times." She repeated this twice. This was my first and LAST interaction with this physician. Is this how you behave towards a potential new patient? Why don't you have a receptionist handling inquiries anyway? Unbelievable.

Couldn't even get past the appointment scheduling part because she was rude and confrontational on the phone. Tried to belittle me about my potential mental illness by asking backhanded questions like are you a child? Adults don't usually have this disorder. Would not recommend; how am I supposed to trust a condescending and hostile person with my mental health?
