Dr may be very well qualified but does not spend time to answer questions. Visit was rushed, spent about 2 minutes. Shame she use to spend time with a patient especially with concerns. I had to follow her out the exam room to ask a question. I have been gone to her for years with no complaints but these last two years have been quite a change.

GREAT DIAGNOSTICIAN
I went first time to see Dr Cohen for my annual body check and she was very thorough. She located a malignant melanoma under my bra/breast that i never saw. She referred me to a surgeon and it was removed with the month. She may not be that 'warm and fuzzy' person, but was professional and very nice. I did not feel rushed at all. I am grateful for her finding this as no other dermatologist did.

Completely rushed the appointment
I came in for an annual skin check (26 years old) I have always come in for annual appointments since high school because I am very fair, have had sun poisoning, and have a large birthmark - Dr. Cohen came flying into the room (with barely any introduction and this was my first time seeing her) and started asking where the mark was that I was concerned about and then proceeded to look at it for 1 second, say it was normal and that as I age I will have a lot more of them. She took barely 3 minutes to look at the rest of my body and told me that I can look at myself and don't need annual skin checks this young. I felt very disappointed in my visit that I paid a $50 co-pay for and did not feel comfortable asking her any further questions that I had about eczema/ dry skin, and daily SPF recommendations. Would NOT recommend Dr. Cohen.

Saw Dr Cohen. Thorough exam. Removed some lesions. Took her time. Much better than last dermatologist I saw in West Chester.

HORRIBLE LADY. Rushed the exam and then started to leave. I said I had some concerns to discuss with her and she said SHE HAD OTHER PATIENTS! I told Dr Coen to slow down and that my skin looked different on my forehead and itched, my scalp was greasy, my back itched like crazy and also for her notes to know that I have Leishen Sclerous. DR COEN DIDN'T CARE about the LS and replied THERE IS NOTHING ANYONE CAN DO ABOUT THE OTHER THINGS BECAUSE I AM OLD. ( I am 51)

Not all of my questions were answered,the diagnosis was" possible" scabies..It either is or is not scabies. She did not take a scrape and view under microscope. Only way to make diagnosis. No maybies. Scabies means fumigate entire house and all clothing . Involves thousands of dollars." Possible" diagnosis because she didn't take time to complete exam.

I have worked with many rude individuals but Julia takes the prize. I was there with my 80 yo Mother for skin cancer evaluation. I was a patient that Julia recommended a Mohr's procedure on my nose. I questioned if she noticed my face, thinking she would be interested in the results. She replied with "Do I have an appointment." I did not heal well so there is obvious scarring . She made no comment. The nurse in the exam room was quite embarrassed. We won't be going back to her.
