Behavioral Health Doctor Should Not Be Overseeing
I have been having numerous stomach problems for the past several years. Through this ordeal, my 'go to ' was Presby Hospital in Pittsburgh. One day, the pain was awful, my husband started to take me to Presby. We knew the whole routine. Since I had been admitted to St. Claire previously, when we past it on our way, we went to this ED as it was closer to home. It was very slow that day. Dr. D'alo asked me questions, etc. She came back into my room, sat down, looked at my husband and told him that she was sorry but I was addicted to prescription drugs. Presby had given me strong medications while admitted there and prescribed them for home. Not once in my 60 years have I ever, ever abused and kind of medication in my life. A doctor's mantra 'is to do no harm.' This woman did very much harm that day. I believe a handwritten apology from her would suffice for her grave misdiagnosis.

Best ER physician I have ever had the opportunity to work with and to help me in my time of need. She takes the time to talk to you and answer all of your questions. I went in for a swollen arm and right away she assessed the situation and ordered tests. Dr. D’Alo then went over those test results to reassure to me that I did not have a DVT in my arm. I also have had the privilege to work with her. I am an EMT and St. Clair hospital is were I frequented while doing clinical time for my certification. It’s not everyday that you run into an ER physician that remembers you let alone what they had treated/seen you for. She asked how I was and at that time I realized that she is a one of a kind doctor and person. Like I said before one of the best ER physicians around and just an overall great person. Thank you Dr. D’Alo Sincerely, Shelby Adams

Saw Dr. D'Alo in the emergency room of St. Clair Hospital while I was in distress. I thought she was absolutely terrific. She has a great bedside manner, quickly assess the situation and couldn't have been more helpful in presenting complicated information, and assisting me in making decisions. Couldn't have been more pleased with her knowledge, skill and bedside manner.
