I went to Dr. Krankl last year and after the 3rd session I left in tears. I was so depressed and never once felt relief from working w/ her. I raised my concern about my ADHD and how I think it is the source of my depression and anxiety. She told me that my childhood trauma is the cause to my depression and commented on the influx of people thinking they have ADHD because of the pandemic. Now one year later in the same position I was in when I started with her, on the same medication she started me on, I had my first session with a psychiatrist in LA who actually heard my concerns and gave me a real evaluation. He didn’t assume I was trying to diagnose myself and allowed me to feel heard which mental health providers should naturally do? Do not ever make someone feel like their feelings are not valid because it took me a long time to reach back out for help after she scarred me. Please do not go to her.

I felt disrespected the entire visit. Julia responded coldly, arrogantly and condescendingly to my questions and inquiries about my condition. No bedside manner, and a flat affect.
