Dr. Julia Meisler, MD

This is my 2nd pregnancy with Dr. Meisler - She is incredibly warm, considerate and I trust her completely - She has helped keep me and my babies healthy from beginning to end. She is always thorough, takes her time with me, and goes above and beyond to ensure a comfortable, healthy, safe pregnancy and delivery. I feel so lucky to work with her.

It was my first time seeing Dr. Meisler and it was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. She made me feel so comfortable and safe, she provided knowledgeable insights, and had great bedside manner. She asked pointed questions and was understanding and extremely helpful with her guidance and clinical expertise. I instantly felt in great hands and was so pleased with my appointment. Thank you Dr Meisler for excellent patient care!

Upbeat, friendly, thorough and professional. Dr. Meisler made the examine process a breeze. She made me feel very comfortable and was at the ready to assist in all matters of concern. I can’t recommend her enough. Very grateful to have her as my physician.

I just moved back to NYC and wanted to transfer my care and providers after I moved. I waited 5 months to get in with Dr. Meisler and I picked her solely for the positive reviews that I read. I scheduled it as a annual visit, but was also hoping to get some guidance related to fertility. I believe that the way that Weill Cornell schedules doesn't allow for proper time to adequately know the pt, so I can't blame Dr. Meisler completely, however she was in an out the door within 7 minutes. She didn't get the time to review my history with me or look through my previous chart results or even just to know me on a basic level. She kept asking 'do you have any questions?' and of course I did but I was thrown off by the quick in and out nature of our visit and the fact that she didn't really ask anything about me. I was so disappointed and upset after our visit. I don't feel that I got adequate care.

Dr. Meisler was so caring and attentive to all of my concerns since the first day I walked in the office. Anytime I had any questions or concerns Dr. Meisler was there to help me out, very patient and understanding to my anxiety. The day of my delivery she made sure I was okay from the second I stepped into the hospital until discharge.She was absolutely a positive energy and good vibe. I am forever grateful for her.

Dr Meisler was absolutely amazing throughout my pregnancy. An absolutely gem of a doctor. My husband and I don’t have family close by but we always felt supported by Dr Meisler. We always looked forward to our visits with her and we’re so upset when she wasn’t on call the day I delivered my baby. I guess there’s always the next one:)

Dr.Meisler was attentive and addressed all my concerns. I drive from across three boroughs to come see her. She is caring and proactive in my care.

In my opinion, the care is very rushed. Whenever I brought up serious postpartum issues, they were constantly dismissed as normal, and no solution was provided for the problem, leading to further complications for myself and my baby. I couldn't schedule an appointment sooner than two weeks. During the pregnancy, there was poor communication and transfer of knowledge about expectations or future visits. This lead me to feel very alone and frustrated in my pregnancy.

Dr. Meisler is the best. She’ was extremely communicative and supportive throughout a complicated pregnancy. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking care.

She was informative, friendly, and approachable

Dr. Meisler is knowledgeable, compassionate and very caring. I’m so glad I found her! She puts me at ease and works with me to find the best care plan.

I ended up switching to Dr Meisler and the UWS practice at 28 weeks pregnant with my first baby, and I am so glad I did. Dr Meisler was an absolute joy and I truly looked forward to my frequent appointments. She really listens, provides thoughtful recommendations, was reassuring without being the slightest bit dismissive, and is overall friendly. She wasn’t on call the day I went into labor so another doctor in her practice delivered my son, and Dr Meisler made the effort to call me a few days afterwards just to check in and see how everything went which I think truly speaks volumes to her character. I will without a doubt be a patient of hers for my next pregnancy.

Knows about lactation medicine which most OBGYNs dont

Dr. Meisler is simply amazing! This was my very first visit to an OB/GYN, and she made it very comfortable and tried to decrease the possible tension that could arise. She started with asking some general questions and family planning-related ones if applicable. During the exam, she was asking non-medical questions to lower the stress and tension. She is very knowledgeable and knows what she is doing. Dr. Meisler is sweet and kind, but strong at the same time, which makes you feel that you are in good hands. I would definitely recommend Dr. Meisler. The experience was great!

Dr. Meisler was my OB-GYN for my first child, and she was a caring and attentive resource throughout our experience. Being pregnant for the first time, I had a lot of concerns about pregnancy, labor, and delivery, and Dr. Meisler was so knowledgeable and responsive that she helped allay many of my fears. She has also been equally supportive postpartum, taking time to help me troubleshoot breastfeeding/lactation issues. I feel so fortunate to have had a doctor who cared about making my pregnancy/postpartum experience a positive one, and we could not be happier with the outcome - our healthy daughter! I can’t recommend her highly enough.

I feel so lucky to have found my way into Dr. Meisler's office. She took superb care of me during my pregnancy and delivery, and I can honestly say she's the best doctor I've ever had. Pregnancy can be a stressful experience, but I always felt I was in the best of hands with Dr. Meisler. She has a superb bedside manner and always answered all my questions thoroughly and thoughtfully. She is attentive, energetic, engaged, and provides care that feels personal--her office is no factory. She was also extraordinary during my delivery--she coached me through it brilliantly. My husband and I speak about how fabulous Dr. Meisler was during my pregnancy and delivery all the time--we heartily recommend her to anyone looking for an OBGYN.

I've had the best experience working with Dr. Meisler, from pre-conception to delivery. She is attentive, she's always happy to answer questions and discuss options and she provides additional information on any topic whenever asked. I highly recommend working with her and this office.

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Meisler! I cannot say enough wonderful things about her. She is kind, attentive, incredibly intelligent and informative all while being thorough, empowering and incredibly funny. All of my interactions have been nothing less than amazing and sometimes I even forget that I'm at a doctor's office because I feel so comfortable with her. She makes me feel truly special and supported even though I know she has so many other patients that she cares for. It's very clear that she loves her work and her patients and is great at what she does. I could not have asked for a better doctor and will never consider seeing another OBGYN again!
