I’ve been seeing Dr Robinson as my primary care provider for several years. I actually followed her when she transitioned from Medical Park to Arete. She is knowledgeable, relatable and takes the time to talk through your concerns.

A while back, I caught strep throat from my wife, and I visited Dr. Julie Robinson at Medical Park Family Care to get antibiotics. The appointment lasted less than five minutes, and there was no testing or additional inquiry after I said I believed I had strep throat. The rush and lack of attention may not have bothered me enough to write a negative review, but the bill I received pushed me to give a warning to future patients considering Dr. Robinson or other providers at Medical Park Family Care. While I spent more time in the waiting room than I did speaking with medical professionals, Dr. Robinson billed for a "detailed exam" which costs $300. I called and asked why I was being billed for a higher level of service when I only had a quick, generic appointment. The billing employee said they spoke with Dr. Robinson and that she said she spent a "significant" amount of time with me. She or the employee is lying. Why is it so hard to find an honest doctor in this town?

Dr Robinson listens if something worries you about your health and is easy to communicate with. She promptly reported the results of medical tests and clearly explained the next direction. My whole experience with MPFC has been very positive.

From everyday ailments to a serious bout of pneumonia requiring a high level of care, Dr. Julie Robinson has taken care of me for the last several years. She is caring, professional, and respectful. I trust her completely and refer friends to her without hesitation. My children will see her as they transition from the pediatric practice where they've been cared for as younger children. Dr. Julie provides excellent care.

About Me

care philosophy

I believe that each person's health ultimately is in their hands. I can help with diagnoses and recommendations, but it is the patient's choice in the end. Good nutrition, exercise and quality sleep are keys to health.

biography

The reason I became a doctor: My realization came when I was working on fishing boats out of Dutch Harbor in the 90s, living in tight quarters with such a variety of people.
