She's taken care of both of my boys for about 20 years. Medical knowledge is great. Unfortunately, after my divorce she preferentially spoke with the children's mother and would not speak directly to me, the father. She declined obtaining additional diet history from me or providing me with direct updates. The mother would schedule appointments when I was unavailable and Dr. Dunlea refused to include me on the phone or update me directly. I am a physician myself, and as a result of this experience, I routinely offer to include the other parent over the phone in a shared parenting situation. I do not recommend her if the parents are not together, but have equal rights to medical decisions because she may show a preference for one parent.

Dr. Dunlea has been the physician for both of my daughters over the course of 23 years. I trust her with the lives of both of my children. She is an excellent, professional, well rounded physician. I would recommend Dr. Julie Dunlea to all parents.
