Dr. Jumnah Thanapathy, MD

Horrible Doctor that doesn't care about her patients! She is the worse doctor I have ever met! She is not professional at all!

I will never go back to her and I wouldn't even suggest her to my worst enemy. She mumble something about the corona virus before forcing an unlubricated speculum into me. It did not go on the first try. She then complain to me about how tight I am and forced it even harder. After that violation she put an ungodly amount of Lube on her fingers to do the uterus check. My body leaked lubrication for 27 hours. She also left the paper gown top wide open after doing the breast exam. That part didn't bug me so much because I'm not too worried about modesty but I know many women are. I've never had an OBGYN stare at my breasts before. Beyond her aggressive actions, her bedside manner was poor. She would ask me questions and then tell me not to talk unless I had the answer. I was trying to give her the answers and she shut me down many times. Kept mumbling about cronan virus. Absolutely a terrible experience. If this were my first OB-GYN appointment I would never go back in my life.

I have never met such a disrespectful and arrogant doctor. She is unprofessional and lacks bedside manner and compassion. As if this wasn’t bad enough she either money hungry or just plain lazy, I went in for pap smear and I was trying to tell her about pelvic pain I had been having and she cut me off and told me I had to schedule another appointment to talk about that because all she was going to talk about and do during that visit was the the Pap smear. When I insisted on addressing the problem I had been having she was very rude and insulting. She is not only a bad doctor but an awful person. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

Dr. Thanapathy can be a little rough and very blunt sometimes, which can rub some people the wrong way, but when it came down to making important decisions about me and my baby's health there is no one else I would have trusted more than her. She knows what she's doing and does it well. She is quick during appointments so if you want more time with her take it and ask her questions. She wants what is best for her patients, but doesn't aim to waste your time or hers.

I am 44 yrs old & have 6 children all delivered by Dr Thanapathy. Is she a bit abrasive yes, blunt yes, but she is also a wonderful doctor & woman. Over the years I have come to know her. There were many a times when she hugged me to comfort me & took a joke from me as well. She went straight to Docter mode when my newborn son had a medical emergency at birth than turned & lowered her voice to comfort & console me. I have always felt safe & my children in the best of hands. I trust Dr Thanapathy

Dr. Thanapathy is an EXCELLENT doctor. She is very wise and knowledgeable in her field. She is straight to the point. She is a No BS doctor. She tells it like it is and guides you to the best care you may need if it's not ob/gyn related issue. All I can say is she AWESOME!!! If you are looking for the BEST care then she is the DOCTOR you want!!!

She seemed very experienced & made me feel comfortable.

Dr. T cares about how I'm doing overall and specifically about why I'm there for the appointment. She takes her time to review my medical history, asks about how things are going in general and never rushes me. She explains her procedures and why she does or doesn't order specific tests. She answers any questions and addresses any concerns I may have. I've changed other doctors before but never considered looking for another GYN.

Dr. Thanapthy is wonderful! As a first time (about to be) mother, I could not have asked for a better doctor. She doesn't mince words and has a wealth of experience. The last thing a first-time pregnant woman needs is a doctor who is indecisive or sugar coats things. I love her no-nonsense attitude and it has served me well throughout my entire pregnancy. I highly recommend Dr. Thanapathy.

Upon entering a very clean office you are greeted by a nice receptionist. Dr. Thanapathy always listens to my concerns and has answers for me. She is extremely intelligent and caring. I would never go to any other doctor, she's the best!

Knowledgeable, thorough, understanding. Very open to questions. When I had both my children, she was very attentive and had my best interest in mind. I would absolutely recommend her.
