Dr. Junith Thompson herself is a wonderful doctor. She is warm, friendly, and effective. The focus on beauty products and cosmetics is disturbing. I understand she needs to make money but it is demoralizing to have to be barraged with video, posters, flyers advertising cosmetic procedures while seeking basic healthcare. Office staff are not as effective as they could be. I wasn't billed for service for over six months and didn't know I owed money until I received a letter threatening collections. When I addressed the cosmetic surgery ads in the waiting room, I just got a shoulder shrug. I've lived in Kenosha my whole life and Dr. Thompson has always been known as the best in town. I am disappointed she promotes body shame and self hatred to the women in her practice.
