Worst Office Staff & Cocky Doctor
I’m so disappointed. I received a recommendation for Dr. Amaro from good friend that is a physician. I called to get a new patient appointment & the office staff treated me as they didn’t need a new patient & I was wasting their time. I finally got n and the doctor Treated me the same way. I felt as if I was inconveniencing the doctor & as I was going through my medical history it was as if I knew nothing about myself after 45 years & that my medical issues were not important I felt very dismissed, not heard, and he questioned what specialists for years have treated me for & with. He gaslighted me regarding my pain, fatigue, and insomnia. I immediately researched and found a physician that listened and took me seriously. Think twice about going to Dr. Amaro.

Tried to become a patient for 2 months, filled out paper work, called at 1 month given an excuse about it coming in out of order, then emailed 2 weeks later no response, then called and was put on hold for 20 min., then emailed again and was told my phone no was wrong ( they entered it in wrong). Then I was told I would be seeing a nurse practitioner instead of Dr! After all of that I decided the Dr was too busy and the staff was reflective of the practice as a whole!

Dr. Amaro and his staff are superb! They understand that other issues arise after an appointment has been made and always reassure the patient that they will take care of those issues. Dr. Amaro has never rushed me and always comes across as having all the time necessary for my appointment. Awesome job to him and his staff.

I have sen Dr Amaro several times. He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to teach about the latest information that might get you on the track to health. I have recommended him to several friends and will continue to do so.

Tried to make an appointment with Dr. Amaro. Called and spoke with the office staff. Left multiple messages, as Dr. Amaro was refered to me by a friend who is a Healthcare Professional. UNFORTUNATELY, no matter how good a Doctor is, the staff will ruin it! After finally setting an appointment, His staff called less than 24 hours before and cancelled. They do NOT want to accept any CASH paying patients. Well, now I know!

At first he wouldn't put me on medicine that another doctor said I needed to be on or I would be hospitalized but finally put me on it.He tried to get me to take medicine that I didnt need, wanted us to go see him every month, was unprofessional when talking to me about another doctor & what she said I needed, & his office ladies told me they don't communicate with each other when it came time for payment & I had already given them our new insurance card & they charged me the wrong anount.
