Dr. Justin Cashman, MD

I went into his office after what I thought was a sprain that was not healing. After 3 weeks it would swell when my foot was down. He said my foot was broken- he put a cast on my foot.. two days later I was in the ER with a massive bi-lateral pulmonary embolus. I had a blood clot in my foot/ankle. the cast forced/broke the clot- and shot it into my lungs. If he had listened to me, he would have realized the swelling was from a blood clot. He also put on my records that I was on the nicotine patch (I have never smoked a day in my life) I had clearly stated I was on the birth control patch- another indicator that it was blood clot. I am lucky to be alive.

Dr. cashman not only diagnosed a fracture that had been missed by another and had not healed, he also recommend additional treatments including preventative measures. He goes above and beyond. I recommend him highly.

Did not feel I was rushed, listened to my medical concern, took the time to exam and determine the issue, talked to me about several different treatment options and answered all my questions.

I was able to get an appointment at the last minute with Dr. Cashman to have them look at severe wound to my foot. The office staff was extremely helpful and very pleasant and check in and I waited a short time to see Dr. Cashman. After my exam Dr. Cashman determined that I will need surgery on my foot and did a wonderful job explaining the process and what to expect. I plan to have Dr. Cashman do the surgery and look forward to a healthy recovery.
