Very kind thoughtful and compassionate. Did more surgical procedures as necessary -more than originally planned. I will continue to recommend him to anyone who needs heart valve surgery. He is the BEST!

Very comfortable environment. He was very knowledgeable and listened to my concerns and opinions. I appreciated the fact that when I asked about vitamin supplements he admitted he wasn't real familiar with the subject and directed me where to go to find answers.

He didn't inspire confidence. He was almost giddy at the degree of dysfunction of mom's heart valve and stopped just short of saying she should be dead "I just can't believe you're still ... Walking around". Promised immediate scheduling of surgery, then the nurse said more tests were needed 1st, so got out hopes up

Emergency surgery Dec 2, 2014 second surgery by Dr timek with Dr fanning hospitalized2 other times in Grand Rapids in 2015. The man had lots of time, patience, and understanding

I've had 7 surgeries (working on scheduling the 8th) to try and fix the mess that Dr Fanning created when he implanted a graft to repair my AAA and skipped town almost immediately thereafter.
