Dr. Justin Labart, MD

One of my sons had his wisdom teeth removed at the office. After being misquoted due the office's inability to run insurance, we received a call stating we still owed over $1100. We stated we understood and to bill us. Weeks later, after insurance cleared and we actually owed much less quoted, the first bill we received stated we were grossly overdue on payment. Less than a week later, we received a second bill threatening to take us to collections. When my wife called to make payment and attempted to explain the situation, she was told by the office manager 'thanks for complaining' as she giggled to someone in the background. Thanks to Stacie, the office manager, my other son's appointment with Dr. Labart will be cancelled. With the cost of his services, manners and professionalism should be expected. Would not recommend.

My experience here was fantastic. Dr. Labert is the best oral surgeon that I have ever been to. His staff is awesome! The doctor is awesome! I have seen him in both his Shawnee office and his Lawrence office. He is so quick and really cares about his patients. I will never go to another doctor ever again. I trust him, and he has always taken care of me. I am even going to have him take out my daughters wisdom teeth. If you have a problem after your procedure, he will get you right in and make sure that you are OK. I have never seen another oral surgeon go the extra mile like Dr. Labert does.

I had a wisdom tooth extracted by Dr Labart and ended up with dry socket after they charged me $200 for a clot that was supposed to stop the dry socket, then he discovered my jaw was fractured and then the bone got infected. Took him weeks to realize there was a fracture. This lasted about six months and most of it involved excruciating pain. It was all over an asymptomatic wisdom tooth. I was told at the office that the tooth had to come out or I would suffer in the future. There is no evidence this would have happened and now regret making the decision to have it taken out. I do feel like slight fear tactics were employed as I was told this will be a nightmare in the future and was never told it might not cause issues at all. Saying that, hes a nice guy and his staff are excellent. Personally my experience was horrible and Im sure I was that 1 in 100 to have problems. However I do not appreciate the way it was sold to me. I would avoid this office just based on that alone.

My son had his wisdom teeth out with Dr. Labart. Our consultation was in the Shawnee office and procedure was in Lawrence . The staff at both locations were helpful and friendly. The doctor did a great job. We have no complaints.

Dr. Labart was a wonderful DDS when I had my implant operated under him for about half a year. He firstly explained clearly medical conditions and treatment about implant and later on for each procedure as well before operation. He was patient and nicely for each phase's followup I went for. He was a great surgeon and great caretaker too. Highly recommend him!

He was very nice and understanding of me acting like a total baby, as I knew I would. I will definitely be back in their office in shawnee again!! Thank you guys so much for making me feel at ease!

Dr Labart explained procedures, offered alternatives with additional explanation. He is very well prepared and extremely competent. You get a sense of self confidence that is not misplaced. He knows what he is doing.
