Dr. Justin Quinlan, DO

Best primary I have found in the valley. Smart and very obviously super competent. But the real winner is his manner. This is what a doctor consult should be like. Dr. Quinlan listens before he talks, and the whole clinical interaction was very conversational and relaxed. Instead of him telling me what I needed to change in my diet, it felt like he was giving advice based on his own experience with some dieting and weight loss. And because the interation was so comfortable, it was thorough. Lots of issues were brought up and addressed at once in a mostly conversational clinical visit. Really refreshing after several bad primaries I have had around here. I really hope Baystate can keep him here in hamp.

I've only seen Dr. Quinlan a handful of times, but from my first appointment I could sense he was a very competent provider. He listens to concerns, doesn't rush you, and explains in detail and laymen's terms in detail. I've been very happy with his care and understanding. He hopefully sticks around as I've had approximately 5 providers since Dr. Harvey Lederman retired. Just ranks right up there with Dr. Lederman..who was an excellent Doctor.!

Dr. Quinlan was very responsive, a good listener, personable, and kind.

This was the first time I saw Dr Quinlan. I found him to be kind, compassionate, competent, and easy to talk with. I feel as though he listened carefully to my words and responded using his best medical judgment. I also did not feel as though he was rushing the appointment just to keep on schedule. [...]

I'm very satisfied with the care I receive at Baystate Northampton

This was my first visit with Justin Quinlan and I was very pleased overall. I feel like he'll be an excellent primary care doctor.

Dr. Was very good at listening to me and incorporating my input with his plan of action. I appreciate this quality very much in a medical professional.

Dr. Quinlan was excellent. I feel very fortunate to have him.

Dr Q is very involved and communicative. He knew my history and made thoughtful observations and recommendations. I felt listened to and respected. [...] He spent time getting to know both myself and my husband, also a transfer patient.

This was my initial visit with this Doctor. He had reviewed my extensive medical history thoroughly and had excellent questions regarding a few odd parts of my record. He was very attuned to problems I have with sensitivities to medications and pain management and wants to collaborate with an oral surgeon before I have a second surgery for a [...]. Although we ran out of time for that visit, he asked me to schedule another visit so that we could complete my physical. Overall, this visit was very positive [...] I actually look forward to working with Dr Quinlan as I believe we will be able to work together towards an effective and respectful management of my health challenges. I also know he will pay attention to the specialists I work with and will work with them when necessary to ensure I am safe.

First visit w/provider. He is to be my new PCP.

This was my first visit with Dr. Quinlan as my PCP. It was the best PCP visit I've ever had. I actually didn't even know a PCP could be so helpful/the actual scope of their role until meeting Dr Quinlan. I've had exceptionally poor experiences at Baystate since I became very ill [...], so I was so grateful to see an MD that listened to me.

I was transferred to Dr Quinlon when my previous MD left. This was my first meeting with him and I am very impressed with his knowledge and demeanor. Since [...] retired, I have not been satisfied with an MD until I met with Dr. Quinlon. I am very happy to have as my primary care provider.

Overall excellent , in Dr Quinlan's defense my previous provider has not sent my records. He asked appropriate questions and listened while I answered

Dr. Quinlan was great ! I am so glad I have finally gotten a doctor at BayState that I feel comfortable with and showed the knowledge of my health. I would definitely recommend him to all of my family and friends. Sooo glad he Is at this office now. I have had bad experiences with this office In the past, [...] So, now I feel the future will be steady and complete .

I was actually acitvely seeking a new Primary Care Provider prior to this appointment. [...] Subsequent to that time, I felt left in limbo, provider-wise. Dr. Quinlan is a fantastic provider. He listened to my concerns regarding my health, and conveyed a genuine concern. He is a breath of fresh air and a huge asset for the office. I look forward to keeping him as my PCP for as long as possible.

Dr. Quinlyn is the best doctor to happen at Baystate family medicine in a long time. He was amazing. I couldn't be happier.
