Dr. Jyoti Behl, MD

Best doctor I've had. She listens to you and makes sure you have your medication. She's great .I recently have had zero issues with waiting.

I am confident with Dr behls patient assessment. She is able to accurately diagnose medical/mental situations and has helped me immensely.

Zero stars! Does not care about your mental health at all! Do not go here! Worst experience ever with a dr! She told me she wouldn’t send a prescription to the correct part of insurance, so my husband could not get the shot he needed that he ultimately missed because of her and her practice! Her staff is unfriendly. She told me she spent to much time working on my husband stuff....how is that possible when that’s your job as a dr to work with your patients! She called and told us to find someone else! I hope no one has to go through what we did! Take my advice and do not go here find another practice and save yourself the headache!

Wait was over 2 hrs. At that point I should have seen the red flag. This woman is condescending, arrogant & is not a reputable mental health professional. Waste of time & money. Day after my visit I called office & asked gentlemen answering calls, how could he even work there, his response, ‘I don’t even know!’ It’s that messed up!!! Insane!

Dr. Behl is alright. Yes there are wait times; she spends 5 or 20 minutes with you, the admin is a nightmare. I got a phone message that my appointment was to be the following day however it wasn't so I called to verify which day. The person on the other end told me to go in Tuesday and not Wednesday I did so. The next month I was told I had to pay a fee for no show. I was so angry since I called to verify. 3 months this went on but In the end I refused to pay! Not sure if I will stay.

Horrible experience with this unprofessional practice. Disorganized grubby office. Waited 2 hours for scheduled appointment. Office was packed, with quick in and outs giving impression of a pill distributor. The "doctor" spent no more than 15 minutes with patient, yet billed Blue Cross for a full hour--more than $550! Promptly paid patient amount, yet harassing calls from collections & Behl's office continue months later. Go anyplace but here!

Took my teenager to Dr Behl after she was assaulted by a gang in class at Bowie High School. Waited more than an hour and a half past our scheduled appointment. The office seems to be chronically overbooked. Staff was cold and preoccupied with more important things than patients. Saw Dr Behl for 15-20 minutes (though we paid for an hour). She was dismissive, couldn't wait to get us out of her office. Constant harassment from Behl & collection agents though we paid months ago.

Do NOT use this doctor. She has no interest in helping her patients and never returns calls
