Dr. Jyotirmay Chanda, MD

I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care my father received from Dr. Chanda. After seeing numerous providers, we were struggling to find answers, but Dr. Chanda took the time to listen, understand, and approach my father's condition with both compassion and expertise. Not only did Dr. Chanda finally provide a diagnosis that others missed, but the kindness shown throughout the process has made all the difference. We truly felt heard and supported, and it’s clear that Dr. Chanda genuinely cares for his patients. I am incredibly thankful for the professionalism, dedication, and understanding displayed during my father's care.

Dr. Didn’t listen, disrespected my opinion and talked mostly to my son instead of to me. He also mis-diognosed my condition, jumped to preconceived notions and left a report that labeled me inaccurately. I do not think that one cocktail before dinner qualifies as a “chronic alcoholic”. I was insulted by his assessment and believe it is totally untrue and would like it expunged from my record.

I intend to write a complete report of what they did to me at Winchester Hospital. This doctor did things that endangered my life. he refuses to listen, and he has a language barrier. His attitude was abrasive, condescending and mean. I did not feel safe so I went home earlier than I wanted to. Now I'm home suffering and struggling.

This doctor was following my in-law at Winchester Hospital during a recent hospitalization.. He talked over us, gave us the wrong information about a cardiology report and recommendations for treatment and medications going forward,. told us he was busy and only had a few minutes to talk to us about our family member and basically disrespected me, my in-law, and my spouse. My in-law is at the end of his life and he made it clear he didn’t have more than a few minutes to talk to us. We’ve had many encounters with physicians and staff at Winchester Hospital during the past few years dealing with our family members’ failing health, and the conversation with Dr. Chanda ranks in my mind as the worst. I wouldn’t recommend this physician to anyone and wouldn’t trust any medical advice coming from him. I’m very disappointed in Winchester Hospital.

This doctor did not provide updates about the patient's medical condition. A second opinion indicated that adequate care was not provided by this doctor. He did not provide accurate information to other medical professionals involved in the case and was not truthful to the patient's family about protocols /law. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.
