This man operated on me Three Times. After the second surgery that was to finish the first one, he never finished the second one. I lived in sever pain for two years and had to be operated on by another dr. I would never go back even after Dr Huntsman even admitted his mistakes.

Still partially paralyzed after six years…
Initial surgery seemed to be successful but then a substituted disk moved sideways taking the nerves out in my left leg. It was too long a lapse in time to get remedial surgery. I blame Dr Huntsman for that.

Life changing spine surgery
I have loved with spine pain for 20 years until Dr. huntsman performed an artificial disc replacement surgery. It’s been a miracle since day 1 with all the pain gone. I have a whole new life now experiencing everything without pain.

Up front, and was absolutely concerned about my expectations and what our plan together was. I knew I was in the absolute best hands after my first visit. He made a promise that I would not leave his hospital in the condition I did after my first surgery that was done in Cedar city. And I didn’t. This surgery went so well, I’m recommending him and his team to EVERYONE.. Best medical decision I have made. Thank you Dr Huntsman, your a God send.

I've had multiple cervical and lumbar fusion surgeries from Dr. Huntsman. All Due to scoliosis. The last 4 surgeries were for redoing failed Fusions due to broken screws and cage collapses. The last cervical surgery caused two spinal cord injuries. I am partially paralyzed on my left side. It also paralyzed my left vocal cord. I've been in rehab for 3-1/2 months now. I recently regained my voice after an outpatient procedure to modify the paralyzed vocal cord. My partially paralyzed arm, leg and foot have not improved. I also have a paralyzed colon, and ZERO sexual activity.

Having this individual cut me open was the worst thing I could’ve ever done! I was needing 2 discectomy, and granted “dr” huntsman has operated on me... and only made things worse for me. I was 26 when I had this surgery, and now I find walking with a as cane most the time, due to the discs he operated on, are completely blown out, and compressed against my sciatic nerve. I would’ve been better off not having the surgery!

I did not meet with Dr. Huntsman himself but rather his PA (who was great) to review the results of my MRI and discuss path forward, of which surgery seemed to be implied due to the nature of my L4 & L5 disk herniations. The PA did mention that further discussion with Dr. Huntsman was necessary due to some atypical symptoms I was having in relation to what the MRI showed. Great I thought, I'll receive a follow up call, and/or meet with Dr. Huntsman to discuss the procedure and/or options prior to actually scheduling the surgery. This was the last time I heard from his office until a call from the Surgical Center requesting I fill out paperwork for surgery scheduled the next Tues. Two days later I received another call on behalf of Dr. Huntsman's office for a back brace and prevention device that had been ordered, unbeknownst to me. I have decided to go elsewhere as this series of events seems strange and does not sit well, and at minimum seems unprofessional. Feel like another number

Dr. Huntsman has seen me for 2 surgeries. He has done incredible work! I have lousy discs and they keep disappearing. On the second surgery he had the foresight and plan to remove hardware from my initial back fusion that he did not do. I’m off pain meds after 20+ years on them and feeling good! I even think I’m taller!!

Dr. Huntsman and staff are superb. I was treated with respect and compassion by all from my first visit. Dr. Huntsman took time to diagnose my situation, explain his recommendation, and answer all my questions. I never felt pressured or rushed. Kathleen was helpful with insurance approvals and scheduling; she always responded quickly to my emails and phone messages. The procedure was an absolute success. It has helped me resume normal, pain-free life after a sudden, unexpected spinal infection left me virtually incapacitated. P.A. Alexa, was also fabulous from initial consultation through hospitalization and post-surgery check-ups. She visited me in the hospital and continually answers my many questions patiently. Dr. Huntsman and his team are exemplary in their level of professionalism, knowledge, skill, and compassion. Sometimes specialists can lack good "bedside manner." Not so, Dr. Huntsman! He is down-to-earth, straight-forward, and personable while being a master of his craft.

I had my back surgery done back in December of 2017 by Dr. Huntsman and I just wanted to say how much It has truly changed my life for the better. I was so miserable every single day with the agonizing pain that would never let up. I tried everything I could including steroid injections for several years. Thanks to Dr. Huntsman and his incredibly knowledgeable team I now feel 20 years younger. Truly a priceless difference in my life.. Thank you again :)

I was very impressed not only with Dr. Huntsman’s knowledge but his willingness to take the time to make sure I understood the problem I was having and what could be done to improve my quality of life. He also made me aware of the timeframe it would take to recover and the progressive steps along the way. This eased my mind and lessened my overall anxiety. ‘

I’ve had 3 procedures preformed by Dr Huntsman. Fusion L4, fusion C3,4,5. I’ve had excellent results of both these planned procedures. This last Fusion L5,S1 was sort of an emergency procedures for basically broken L5 vertebrae. Anyhow I had to be transported to St. Marks emergency. On a Tuesday Dr. Huntsman and his staff make arrangements to schedule a late surgery for me on Wednesday afternoon. I’m now going on 6 week post surgery and once again i’m Doing great. Thanks Dr. Huntsman and staff you have no idea how grateful I am.

Excellent Dr and staff. Kathleen returns calls quickly and will do what is necessary to get your surgery approved. Chase is fantastic at helping solve issues and with the after care. I would highly recommend this office. Dr. Huntsman knew exactly what surgery I needed to fix a botched surgery from another Dr. Two years prior.

This is my second spine surgery done by Dr. Huntsman. The office visits are efficient and timely. The surgeries have been successful providing anticipated relief. Information regarding time of recovery and follow up care was helpful and gave a clear understanding of the healing process and expectations.

Dr. Huntsman and his staff are so friendly, informative and accommodating, I recommend them to anyone seeking quality care and spine surgery. On my first appointment x-rays were done in the office and the MRI done in the same building, so convenient. His office is clean and neat and I have not met any one of his staff the was not pleasant and answered any questions that came up.

Dr. Huntsman is skilled, and caring. You don’t always find a doctor with both attributes. Having a skilled doctor who is confident in the procedure helps put yourself at ease. I love Dr. Huntsman and his team. I have already referred a friend to his team.
