Dr. Kae Bendixen, MD

Dr. Bendixen was my OBGYN when I was pregnant and with a history of two miscarriages. I reached out to her informing her of my previous pregnancy problems and asking her a few questions in regards of my condition. She never replied. When I had an actual appointment with her couple of weeks later, I mentioned about the email and asked her those questions again. She was supposed to find out and let me know. She never did. Again. And I had another miscarriage with this pregnancy as well. I would like to think it wasn't her fault, but having such ignorant doctor while dealing with such sensitive subject is plain unacceptable.

At first I liked Dr. Bendixen but the further along I got in my pregnancy I felt like she completely dismissed any of my concerns about my health. I also was constantly guilt tripped me about not wanting to be put on anti depressants during my pregnancy. All the notes on my after visit summaries feel very passive. Her communication is also poor, and the amount of times Kaiser has called to reschedule my appointments with her is more then I can count. Over all I'm extremely disappointed with the care I received during my pregnancy. This whole experience has made me uncomfortable being a patient at Kaiser and I will not be trusting mine or my child's health with them.

Dr Bendixen seems to be a knowledgeable doctor but her communication is just awful. I have never felt safe with her during my pregnancy. Every single appointment was a struggle with her as she has never answered clearly any of my questions or concerns. I had to keep in my all the upcoming tests (as I remembered from my previous pregnancy) and ask about when they will be done and what the results are. Every single time! My second trimester genetic results are still not in the system even though she promised me she will upload it and explain them. Terrible experience which made me leave Kaiser forever.
