Dr Toosy is my lung Dr and has been for many years he listens and explains everything very knowledgeable and knows when I'm getting a bad flare up always there and helps any way he can he is the best and I'm glad he is my lung Dr no one else I would trust staff are great very happy with my lung Dr

Dr Toosy has been my pulmonologist since 2019. He is extremely knowledgeable in his field. He takes time to listen and thoroughly answer any questions I may have. He takes his time and truly cares about his patients. His Staff is Amazing, kind and courteous. I would definitely recommend him!

I inquired over eight weeks ago if Dr. Toosy would provide a second opinion for my brother. I brought his records over to his New Haven office and personally handed them to Michelle. We weren't looking for miracles, just an affirmation that everything was being done properly and there was nothing else that could be provided medically for him. I called several times and was told that the Dr did indeed look everything over and Michelle promised me a call back with his input. I am still waiting for that courtesy phone call. If initially I was told that the Dr did not provide second opinions or he was too busy, I would have understood. However, I was promised feedback and received none. Very disappointing and heartbreaking on my end.

I met Dr. Toosy while I was admitted to the hospital due to a chronic illness that no one could figure out what it was. All I can say is that Dr. Toosy not only took the time to explain my condition so well making me feel as if I was his already his patient for years. He listened to my concerns and responded to all my questions in a satisfactory way. My husband and my son who at the time was on his last year of medical school were also very impressed with his experience and professionalism. Once I was released from the hospital I thought about continuing my career with Dr. Toosy but due to the pandemic I decided to wait and finally I have made my first follow up appointment to see him very soon. I know I will be in good hands with Dr. Toosy

Understandably, in 2020 in the midst of a pandemic older patients go to a pulmonologist in a frightened state of mind. First of all, one’s initial touch-points, Dr’s staff, are caring, humorous and understanding in addition to knowing their “stuff”. In my first two visits, Dr. Toosy was all I could hope for - 5 ??????????. I recommend the practice highly, but hope don’t need to return soon??

Dr. Toosy saved my elderly mother's life twice! Even when the hospital was beginning to give up on her, he had the patience and compassion to keep going and finally got her off a ventilator on two separate occasions (years apart). He treated her with great respect and didn't write her off because of her advanced age. His sensitivity, kindness, and great expertise are hard to find. Our family considers him a miracle worker.

This guy has no clue what he's talking about, I can't believe he's a practicing doctor.

Dr Toosy is thorough and spends time with the patient to discuss all questions and options. There is not a rush to get you out and the next patient in the examining room. His knowledge is extensive and he has an appropriate sense of humor - a good thing to make patients feel at ease and more open to comments.
