AMAZING SURGEON
AMAZING SURGEON! Knowledgeable, kind, caring, AND LIFE SAVING!Dr. Kaitlin Debbink performed three surgeries on my Dad, managed his ICU care and wound vac. Excellent at communicating with families of elderly patients.If 10 stars were available, she deserves 11!

My experience on the day of my surgery from admission to discharge was very much that of having fallen in the care of a pleasantly efficient band of angels. The surgeon herself, Dr. Debbink, had in my initial consultation exuded the kind of open confidence that made the decision to go forward with the procedure anxiety free.A tone of relaxed banter was struck instantly upon my registration with the pre-procedure nurse, a young woman from the tiny village of [...], whose remote location I was familiar with from thousands of miles of cycling over two decades, and one of the five entities that comprise [...], to which my wife and I had recently retired. Once I was suited up in a gown in the prep area, the various specialist nurses, technicians, and anesthesiologists,[...], et al., came by to introduce themselves and to describe what their role was, a process that struck several jocular exchanges from French grammar to some of the supplements on my medications list. The atmosphere...

Great communicator, well trained staff
Dr. Debbink successfully manages that fine line between personal and professional. She was simultaneously empathic and friendly as well as direct and matter-of-fact in her communications with me. Her PA Maggie and her intern (or resident) Dr. Kim were both very helpful and clear communicators.
