Not only is he knowledgeable, he has excellent communication skills in talking to patients, and their families. My step dad has seen him recently, in the office and for a surgical procedure. He is a very compassionate doctor, and I recommend him highly.

I took my mom to Dr. Shaker regarding her severe COPD. What a wonderful doctor. He was so kind, gentle and patient. He explained everything to mom and me and took plenty of time with us. I wish he could be my PCP. We had to wait about 3 months to get an initial appointment, since she wasn't a regular patient, but it was well worth the wait.
