Dr. Kanika Govil, MD

Dr. Goval and another practitioner are good. However, the office staff is the trade-off. I don't know where the male office manager was educated but clearly he lacks business communication skills and manners. Poor Dr. Goval.

She always seems to be too busy.

I was not sure to come or not because of some reviews. But I am glad I came to see dr Govil. She by far has the best diagnosis skills and I know because I have been to others who could not figure out what is going on. I give kudos to her and the staff for being on top of my health by following up after my appointment also. I recommend if you are looking.

Dr Govil and staff have taken good care of my family. She listens and is on top of your health. She has sick appointment available on a days notice which I like best opposed to other doctor where I had to wait a month. I am happy I picked her.

They have different locations every time you go to the doctor you find different doctor I don’t like to be with different doctors I just like to be with my doctor

Who makes you come in every three months to get medication refill. If that isn’t ridiculous. They wouldn’t refill rescues inhaler. She and her office didn’t have the decency to call to say why. They claim it’s the insurance company. Or that is the doctors rule. When I called the insurance company they said they don’t require every three month visit. The only thing I can think is they want money or look many people go to their practice.

I was recommended Dr. Govil by another professional and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. She is an excellent doctor. Who is able to address any concern or medical case you bring to her attention. She has great bedside manner and is very informative. I would definitely recommend Dr. Govil if you’re currently unhappy with your PCP. She is an amazing doctor.

Great service! I have been going to Dr. Govil's office for almost 5 years and have never had a bad experience. She is thorough and her staff is kind, friendly, and efficient. I am glad that they are open on weekends also so I don't have to miss work. Highly recommended her to new patients if you are looking for a doctor.

I recently moved to the area and looked up Doctor for my Annual checkup. I found Dr Govil online. I would say she is one of the best doctor's I have visited. The office was clean, the staff was friendly. Doctor Govil was not in a rush to see another patient. She talked to me about the things I should do for maintaining and also addressed my other issues as well. They were able to draw my blood in the office so I did not have to go to a lab. I would recommend them to someone moving into the area

Staff is horrible. I have to constantly call to try and get answers. They say they will call me back, but they never do. Dr. Govil was nice at first, but when I started to ask questions - she got irritated. I choose this practice because of the reviews (I don't understand all the great reviews). I am not sure they even care about my health and well being. I am done with this practice.

I found Dr Kanika's new office in Aldie close to our home. It was very convenient to make an appointment. The office location is new so we were able to get same day appointments. Office was very clean and staff was friendly. Doctor was very nice and spent time with me. She took time to explain what was going on and prescribed me the medicine. They also have labs in office so I did not have to go out for doing my labs. I had a very good experience and recommend to anyone looking for a new doctor.

This was my first and last visit with Dr. Govil, whom I chose after reading different online reviews. She didn't bothered to listen to my complains completely, didn't even spend more than 10 minutes in the room. Left without even looking at my past reports, went to see another patient leaving me waiting for the prescription. I will definitely not recommend this doctor to anyone, the staff overbooked the weekend and the doctor did not have enough time to see all patients properly.

Office staff is very rude and unprofessional. Giggling and laughing in my treatment room like i wasnt there, also very bad care. Dr does not even call you personally when blood test results comeback. She leaves her incompetent staff members to do so, and when you ask a question you get a "let me call you back," never calls back. Doctor doesn't even spend five minutes with you. after so many bad experiences with her rude staff i've decided leave.

Reading at the previous review I got the same feeling. Their system is flawed. My wife took my kids to flu shots and they charged for not only flue shots but for office visit and child wellness checkup. After several calls from insurance calling them it took almost 3months to send corrected claim. I would say they are not professionals at all. Very disappointed with the service.

Nice clean office. Doctor was good, listened to me and spent time with me. The nurses were also nice. I plan to change her to my PCP. recommend to fellow patients looking for a good doctor.

I have been going to Dr Govil for the last 5 years. Even when she was at Nova Medical Group in Ashburn. I feel that she is really good at diagnosing the problem and fixing it. She also explains the problem in detail and such that I understand. Her staff was nice and the office was very clean.

Dr Govil's office staff need to learn to be professional to all her patients. Been going to her for a few years now, but I have had a couple of bad experiences with their billing. For vaccinations which are 100% covered by my insurance, they claim as 'office visit' and charge me a copay. It has happened more than a few times and am planning to change my primary physician.
