Talented, compassionate, A-plus results!
I had spinal surgery with fusions in September 2024 and my healing experience has been extra good. This is my second surgery, above the vertebrae fused 12 years ago. Her techniques and her approach to my case so far exceeded my previous experience that I would refer any family or friends to her. She also has extremely talented staff and her main PA Liz is great. Spinal surgery is difficult and healing takes awhile but I am satisfied that she is the best.

Local Doc needs help On His Own Treatment Options
As an experienced but unaffiliated physician, I know that fellow doctors and I can make terrible patients. We clinicians tend to overthink details. Making matters worse, medical insiders usually receive divergent suggestions about how to deal with complex issues. We are prudently aware of the risks of neurosurgery, but too much data can lead to 'analysis paralysis'. I had already received countless formal and informal surgical opinions, so I sought an additional consult from Dr Beasley with skeptical optimism.I was very impressed with the quality of her staff, the clinic's teamwork, and her knowledge, experience and bedside manner. After carefully listening to my personal history and reviewing images with me, she elaborated on a recommended course of action with clear explanations of preferred options, alternatives and risks. I left the appointment reassured. It is with high confidence that I recommend Dr Beasley and her team for neurosurgical care.

Thoracic surgery, I had problems and she acted like it was my fault. No follow up , referring me to my family physician who set up home care for over 3 months and he handled everything. I was mad at her and she got mad at me. Very unprofessional, find another doctor, run from her. I still have problems today and was told by another surgeon that he wouldn’t touch my thoracic spine and to go back to whoever done it to begin with. She refused to see me, or treat me.

Dr. Beasley, her staff, and Our Lord (maybe I should reverse the order here?) gave me back my life. I am a musician and music teacher with essential tremors. After the Neuravive procedure 27 Oct 2021 I have my life back! If I could canonize her I would.

Not the best experience ever. While I was thrilled to finally find a doctor who could address my issue, I didn’t expect my experience to have so many hiccups! I rarely, if ever, get a return phone call for concerns after having had a craniotomy. Thank god I have a medical background, or I’d be panicked and lost! Dr. Beasley is friendly, but does not explain things. I would have asked questions ahead, but didn’t k ow what to ask, even with my training. Thankful for my procedure, but their follow up is seriously lacking.

I was referred to see a neurologist for a specific ailment. After several minutes of conversation, she said she was a surgeon, not a neurologist and that she could refer me to a neurologist. I said my referral was specific as to my needs. She said the front desk people get things wrong all the time. The visit was a complete waste of time. Oh well, pay up promptly. Of course the appointment stated more 30 minutes late in starting, because essentially they way over book and simply cannot plan their work day, so the patients must have patience.

Horrible!!! This physician does not return phone calls and her staff are very unprofessional. She charged me for a no show visitation. I had to send them my cell phone statement as a proof that I cancelled my appointment a few days before the actual appointment! Dr. Beasley is unprofessional and just wants to charge the insurance company. Her staff follow the action of their boss. I WILL NEVER recommend her or Boulder Neurosurgical to any one!!!!

After traveling 4 hours for my appt, I was told that Dr Beasley was in an emergency surgery. I waited, instead of rescheduling. When Dr Beasley arrived, she apologized for the delay. I responded that if I had been in an accident, I would want the same care she just gave the patient in the Emergency Dept. Dr Beasley gave me her full attention, answered all my questions & gave me options for my care. I decided on surgery. The outcome was fantastic & I have recommended her to family & friends ever since. Even after 2 years, I have never second guessed my decision to have Dr Beasley as my surgeon. I’ve had follow ups with her PA, who is extremely knowledgeable & professional. The staff have all been courteous & helpful every time I’ve called. This is the best medical group that I’ve seen. I wish I had known about Dr Beasley before having my previous back surgeries. The outcomes would have been much better. You won’t find a better Neurosurgeon anywhere.

I injured my back from a skydiving accident in 2018 and underwent lumbar fusion the same day. Thanks to Dr. Beasley and her wonderful staff, I am now back to doing everything I did before the accident and the surgery helped me get back to the same life full of adventure and activity that I had before. I would highly recommend their services. Thank you Dr. Beasley!!!!

After the initial shock of the critical diagnosis, I was encouraged by the outcome. I am feeling very little pain after 6 weeks. My major battle was about shedding the effects of the anesthesia and pain meds on my digestive system. Here’s looking forward to physical therapy and a full recovery.
