Receiving care from Dr. Root continues to be the best pediatric experience we’ve ever had (honestly the best doctor experiences we’ve ever had as well). She cares deeply about our newborn’s well-being and is incredibly knowledgeable. Her communication is gentle, humble, and intentional. We are soooo thankful and blessed to know her! As a medical professional myself and well-traveled military family member, I wish we could take her with us on our future moves! Highly recommend!!

Incredible pediatrician
Absolutely the most amazing doctor ever, the care and patience she shows my girls is unparalleled. We were given her on accident but I’m so grateful for it bc we’ll keep her for as long as we can.

Above and beyond
Dr. Root is one of a kind. I was in search of a new pediatrician after a move and wow! We totally hit the jackpot with her. Her bedside manner is phenomenal. Her knowledge and suggestions are based on science and filled with compassion. As a mom and Labor and Delivery nurse, I would recommend her to all of my patients. I am beyond impressed with Dr. Root and so lucky to have found a doctor who I can trust with my son. I would give her more than 5 stars if possible! The clinic is also very nice, clean and up to date. The front staff and nurses are all great as well. I truly can’t say enough good things about Dr. Root and Southwest Children’s Center.

Just had our initial visit. I am dying that I can not give this Dr more stars...she is beyond AMAZING. I have gone through 2 pediatricians and I am SO glad I kept searching. She is EXCEPTIONALLY thorough and kind. She does not write a prescription at the first hint of a problem. Instead, she is ready to offer practical solutions (with reasons behind them). She is SUPER knowledgeable. I learned more in this one visit than in my sons entire 11years. I could go on forever...amazing!!!
