I have a great medical referral for those in need of a Neurosurgeon. If anyone is need of an Interventional Radiologist Neurosurgeon, then I have one for you! I had a 10mm aneurysm in the middle of my brain connected to the cerebral artery. I was misdiagnosed several times prior to seeing this surgeon. This surgeon is Dr. Karam Moon and literally saved my life. I had a very "unique" and complicated Aneurysm in the middle of my brain. This huge aneurysm could have ruptured at any time. Dr. Moon put in a stent and coils. He was the ONLY Interventional Radiology Neurosurgeon that was competent, capable and confident enough to take on my case. He completed his neurovascular and neurointerventional fellowship at Barrow Neurological Institute. I cannot thank him enough for giving me my life back. He is also nice, thoughtful and kind and explains everything so my husband and I could understand what was happening at each step. We absolutely love Dr. Moon!!!!! I would travel a million miles to see Dr. Moon. As of yesterday, I have no restrictions and don't need to see him for another year and only for a CT Scan because my aneurysm is gone. Praise God and the steady hands of Dr. Moon and his great staff.

Won't see this doctor again! Won't recommend him EVER! I met with Dr. Karam Moon in August of 2024. What he wrote in his notes regarding tests performed wasn't true. He didn't perform any tests and I felt rushed through my appointment. The ONLY thing that was done was I asked him if he wanted me to stand up to see how I stand. NONE of the tests were done. My husband was with me the entire time.

Thanks to dr moon and team I’m alive today brain aneurysm survivor, January 2023 very lucky he worked on me and did what he did to save my life he placed a stent in my brain to close my embolism and stop the bleeding I’m lucky for him and his team if I didn’t have dr moon I wouldn’t be alive today thank you Dr moon but now I can’t find you for my follow up appointment since you left Core

Wait time was a little much. I would have appreciated a little more time to interact with the doctor about my expected outcome, however he suggested another MRI of my cervical Spine. I have the feeling that he suspected more than what the Lumbar MRI was showing. I think we will probably get more in Depth at my next appointment

Felt good about my first meeting with DOCTOR Moon looking forward to seeing what we do next

I'm 78 and was horrified when a particularly dangerous aneurysm was discovered in my brain. Using the modern technique of a cerebral angiogram and extraordinary skill, Dr. Moon was able to render the defect non-threatening and apply two stents to prevent any bleeding. I cannot thank or recommend him highly enough. I also appreciate his frank and honest assessment of the situation before and after surgery.

Dr. Moon's surgery scheduling team left me two messages late Friday afternoon to schedule my upcoming procedure. We have returned both those calls first thing the following Monday and again the first thing on Tuesday morning. We have had no response from either of the staff. When we met with Dr. Moon he said he wanted the procedure to be performed 'sooner rather than later'. As the days go by with no response from the staff, it looks like it will be later rather than sooner. This is very disappointing health care.

This was my first visit with Dr. Moon. I was impressed with him from the moment he came into the room. He is truly passionate about people. Very rare to find now. He didn't rush me. He explained everything in detail. I had a complete understanding of my condition. He answered all my questions. Dr. Moon never made me feel that it was an imposition. Everything about him was impressive. He was knowledgeable, well spoken and honest. Dr. Moon is definitely the standard of a doctor. I feel if a person has chosen to be a health care physician, it should be because they care about people and want to help them become a healthier version of themselves. To give the information one needs to make choices for a better quality of life. What a blessing to have crossed paths with Dr Moon.

Dr. Moon is very caring and takes the time to explain what is going on. For example, I asked to see what device he had implanted in my brain and he took the time to look it up on the computer and show it to me.

He was able to show me visual what and where my issue was coming from on my nerve issues in my neck. And recommend me for new MRI to check for any changes from last 2 year MRI report.

He explained my images to me in a manner that I understood and was very empathetic.

I am an office manager for a primary care facility - We have been referring to this office for years, and I thought had a good relationship with them. I have a patient that has been trying to get in somewhere for 2 years, and has all of the imaging completed. I called as the office to try and help her get in quicker. The unprofessionalism of the Manager that I spoke to that wouldn't even take 2 seconds to listen was absolutely disgusting. If you can get past the controlling staff that don't care about anything but having a referral in their hand so that the "Dr. Can review" before they "DECIDE" if they will see your patient, you might have a great experience here. For now, they have lost all of our referrals. Its saddening that patient care is obsolete. Dr. Moon is great - his staff leaves much to be desired.

I was well taken care of on my visit. First class operation first class doctor in first class office staff. Never gotten better care anywhere. Thank you
