Pulmonary Medicine Associates
I was hospitalized in March 2024, and Dr. Chugh was the provider I saw in the hospital. My discharge orders required a follow-up visit with Pulmonary Medicine Associates within one week after discharge. I contacted the office four times over fourteen weeks to schedule an appointment and never received a response. My fifth attempt was successful, and I was scheduled for an 11:10 a.m. appointment. I arrived for the appointment early at the requested time. I waited an hour to see the PA I was scheduled with and spoke to the reception to find out they didn't know how long it would be until the PA would be available. I was also told they only have one PA who sees hospital follow-ups. I had to reschedule the appointment; the next available is in two weeks. I would avoid this entire office.

Bad
My appointment was scheduled a month or more before the visit. I switched to Sutter's insurance and was waiting for this appointment because I couldn't breathe at full strength and I had phlegm in my airways. Imagine my surprise when, on the morning of my visit, the doctor called and said that he did not want to see me and I needed to see other doctors. He didn't even examine me and didn't want to listen to my symptoms and lung condition in time. So, this was the shortest and most unpleasant visit to the doctor. In fact, he refused to provide me with medical care. Be careful and think twice before making an appointment with this doctor. Take care.
