Dr. Karen Chang, MD

One of the hardest working and most dedicated physicians in Colorado. Very knowledgeable, considerate, professional and involved.

Being a healthcare worker I am very picky about my healthcare providers. Dr. Chang is a dedicated, highly educated and personable physician. She is on her A game all the time. She pays attention to little details and helps find solutions even with difficult diagnosis. She readily makes referrals to other specialist when appropriate and follows up. She is prompt in her responses, listens to you and explains things well. She is exactly the type of physician I want taking care of me and my family. The only complaint I have as that she is too good so is booked out a lot and it is hard to get urgent appointments with her. However, it is not impossible if the situation calls for it and she is so good at responding and caring for her patients.

I'm 73 years old and Dr. Chang is best general practitioner (Family Practice) doctor I have been treated by. She is very open, articulate, and direct. I recently had difficulties/bad experiences with my Neurologist. I contacted her and asked for assistance. In less than 6 hours she responded with a referral for a doctor she recommended. I checked the doctors reviews on the Internet and they are outstanding. I trust Dr. Chang's judgement more than any doctor I have been treated by. She's the best hands down.

Dr Chang is professional and intelligent, but is hands-off kind of doctor. She triage only, offering appointments to specialists. Myself and neighbor had same experience in physicals, we not asked to remove any article of clothes. Exam consists of only answering questions, and blood draw. I respect that specialist may have more knowledge, but initial hands-on exam should be expected of internist. While in waiting area, you hear staff discussions on phone with other patients, beware HIPAA.
