Run away
Dr. Kovalo St. John is dangerous, unprofessional, rude, snarky, and has very poor bedside manner. She lacks compassion, gas lights, and has no empathy. One of the worst doctors I have met. You should be very ashamed of yourself.

Worst doctor ever
My mom went to see her a few times. Each time she told her how she was lucky to be alive at this age. She isn’t even 70! My mom left sad and depressed and not feeling any better. On top of bad bedside manners she hasn’t helped my mom. She took her off medicine that was working and gave her new medicine that made my mom feel worse. Whenever she’d ask the Dr. a question she gave a snarky remark. Stay away!

My family member saw Dr. Kovalow-St. John several times for debilitating pain and disfigurement of several fingers. Dr. Kovalow-St. John referred her to a neurologist and when the neurologist wasn't able to come up with a diagnosis, she was referred to Dr. Kovalow-St. John again. Dr. Kovalow-St. John didn't offer any treatment or offer to refer her to anyone else. She was abrupt during visits and failed to timely return phone calls. Dr. Kovalow-St. John's failure to effectively listen to my family member symptoms to diagnose her condition resulted in many more months of soul-crushing unending intense pain and marked increase in the degree of deformity in her affected fingers. My family member gave up on r. Kovalow-St. John and sought treatment with another physician. A more competent doctor diagnosed her with lupus in one visit and recommended surgery.

Dr Karen kovakow-St John is a friendly caring physician but her staff ruins her reputation. Nurse representative is not caring and a bit disrespectful. I was told i misded an appointment that i never made so i would not be able to get on until February. Which was 5 months from when i called for appointment and med renewal. Med renewal would not be approved until I could get an appointment. So it was recommended that I find another doctor by the nurse. My GP renewed my meds. Unacceptable.

I have been seeing Dr. St. John for about 1 year. I have a very serious medical condition. She always approaches me in a kind and caring manner. She listens to my input about my health and medication and values what I have to say. She makes me feel like we are a team and asks me how I feel if my medicine is working/dosage. I am grateful to have her as my RA and I recommend her if you need this type of doctor.
