Dr. Karen Lapesarde, MD

Arrived to my appointment on time but still had to wait 30 mins to be taken in. Once I was in the room they made me undress myself and I waited naked and cold for over 40 mins. I went outside to ask how much longer and they said 5 more mins but no one came.

Dr. Lapesarde cared for me during a very high risk pregnancy. She was very attentive to my urgent needs. She continues to care for me postpartum and meets my on going needs exponentially.

She actually read my file!Really liked her.

After multiple canceled appointments I finally got to have an appointment. I really liked the doctor, it was the easiest gyno exam I’ve ever had. Would definitely recommend her.

Zero stars would be accurate. She was a nightmare (would have been worse if I continued). Run, don't walk, from Lapesarde. Don't expect her to follow up, explain, look at or clarify any test or scan results...do your own diligence. She pushed me to change insurance to contract a major surgery with a disreputable surgeon in his private (non-hospital affiliated) surgical center, without explaining all possible treatments for what I had going on (fibroids). She suggested I had cancer, which I suddenly had to disprove by going to two highly credible doctors including an oncologist, because she didn't follow up with my diagnostic results. She used my tests to justify a DNC with risks and for reasons she did not explain, which was proven entirely unnecessary by the Ultrasound and MRI results she didn't even look at. I cancelled the DNC fortunately after I consulted with better doctors who ruled out cancer and found very credible doctors, thank god. Read her reviews. It's astonishing.

It took 2 weeks of calling her office and leaving message to get results after an ultrasound (which had very timely fibroid results). I finally received the test results with Dr. Lapasarde over a video conference and was charged as a regular visit. Never have I gone to any doctor where receiving test results were considered a "consultation" office visit. I was also billed twice for services emailed about the matter several times called and staff was very rude and I'm still getting the same bill for services I already paid.

I agree with almost everyone on here, Dr Lapesarde is very rude and does not spend much time with you at all. Also, I just called her offices to get my records transferred and she no longer has them, from less than five years ago. Her receptionist did not sound knowledgable at all and mentioned that they probably didn't make it when they did a computer upgrade. So I guess no records for any of her patients before the upgrade?

I am floored at the poor bedside manners of this DR. I simply called my ins to make sure my co-pay was correct, she made rude comments about cheap rich people and threw the gown at my daughter....hence we left

I have seen Dr. Lapesarde twice in the last two months and each time I have waited over an hour before I was seen by her. Dr. Lapesarde spent less than ten minutes with me during my Pap Test and her exam was rough and mechanical. My second visit was for a minor operation and I waited an hour and seven minutes. She leaves much to be desired and I will not be seeing her in the future.

The worst experience I ever had with a female OBGYN. My expectations were blindsided by this doctor as she has no bedside manner, very rude, confrontational with patients', not helpful with allotting enough time to see patients' with questions, hours of office sporadic, always tried to put off her personal beliefs on me, racist, always rushed to do blood work for no reason, threatened to hurt my child if had down syndrome, and overall treated with disrespect. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU VALUE YOURSELF

Rough, poor bedside manners, poor listener, interrupts while you're speaking, double books patients

Dr. Lapesarde is an amazing doctor! She delivered both my children and I love her. Her office is small and friendly and the staff is excellent. I tell all my friends to go to her and they all love her too.

Dr. Lapasarde and her staff are wonderful! It's always easy to get an appointment and be seen by her, she's kind and compassionate, and a great doctor! Two thumbs up!

I've been a patient of Dr. Lapesarde for 10 yrs. I think her and her staff are excellent. She's very intelligent, thorough, and on top of all my test results. I highly recommend her and her team.
