I looking for a New Dr
She’s abrupt runs late makes me feel like I should not have come in. The last time she snapped at me when i did not knowing what a medication was an asked her what is was for. She’s has gotten me to the point that I dread going to the doctor so much that I use OTC medication‘s even though I could get my prescriptions renewed.

I have had three visits with this Dr. in the last two years. She is always apologetic about being behind schedule, is usually abrupt and does not make eye contact with me. I often feel talked down to like a child; I do research about my health conditions and strive to be an engaged and informed patient; for some reason this seems to irritate her! I am looking for another primary care physician who understands the needs of older women.

I've never had an issue with her service and she's very friendly. She placed my IUD and has been great for any issues I've had. She tends to have very long wait times once you're in the office, but she also works at the nearby hospital and was doing an emergency delivery last time I was left waiting. Just make sure you bring something to do. :) I'm sad I have to switch doctors due to moving.

Dr. Karen Myren was my doctor when she was in Colorado and she was absolutely amazing. She gave me an amazing birthing experience that aloud me to have a successful v-back. I decided to look her up when I got pregnant and found she unfortunately moved out of state, bummer.

Had an infection of some sort. Not happy w/how she sat w/her head in computer the whole time searching for what it could be. She told me I knew more about the condition and diagnosis than she did. Was not comfortable w/her. She was not my regular doc, just walked in to ask questions on what could be wrong and nurse thought I should see doc right then so I waited and she was all that was available at that time. Soon as regular doc was available I went to him and glad I did as he knew all about it.

I told her I had a UTI and over a period of several days left three urine samples. None were ever tested and I ended up at the ER on IV antibiotics. Most recently I told her I thought my diabetes was out of control, I felt lethargic, blurry visions and glucose numbers all over the board despite eating properly. She never tested my blood, or even looked at me just instructed me to make an appointment for 3 months for a recheck. I ended up in the ER 4 days later in a near diabetic coma.

I want to stay with her but unfortunately she just does not spend anytime with me or my son as patients. We are rushed through well baby checks and same when I was pregnant. Some of that I feel has to do with the pressure of appointments schedule every 10 minutes and back and forth trips to the hospital for Laboring mamas. I do like Dr. Myren but I feel like a number. Also not a huge deal but the office seems quite a bit outdated and could benefit from some new technology and equipment.
