I genuinely am at a loss since moving to a new state and trying to find one doctor who comes an ounce close to Dr. Poley. I went to her for the past 10 years and she saw me through all life stages including a miscarriage and birth of my daughter who she delivered. I had complete trust & faith in Dr. Poley who faced every question I asked over the years without ever rushing me and always came to the conversation with thoughtful knowledgeable answers (and believe me, there were a lot). I’ve also personally referred her to countless friends after originally being referred to her by a friend myself. I feel lucky I got to be a patient in Dr. Poley’s care as long as I did.

Awful experience
The whole experience was a nightmare for me. Dr Poley saw me briefly, and hardly listened to me when I expressed my worries about related issues. Her assistants were extremely rude and condescending, and this is the last thing you want when you are half naked in a doctor room. On top of everything, I was charged for services that were included in my plan. When I tried to follow up with the office to have assistance, they didn't even let me finish, and they said the error was on the part of the insurance. In fact, they did the error of submitting multiple claims for the same service, and since then not only then have not taken up my insurance's calls, but they have also never answered my messages. Please, remember that you offer medical service! Condescension, indifference, rudeness should never be part of a medical practice. As much as the work you do is stressful and demanding, treating patients like a burden, dismissing their questions, not even listening to them, is just wrong.

I have seen Dr. Poley numerous times over the last 4 years. She is great, and has perfect bedside manner. My PCP at the time recommended her because she is younger, and would be able to see me through a good length of time. My plan is to use her when my husband and I start trying to conceive. I would recommend her to anyone I know. Also, the one negative review I saw mentions that she talks too much. That's one of the things I love about her, she actually takes the time to get to know her patients, what they need, what they like, and what they don't like. I can't say enough good things about her.

Dr. Poley was great. She listened to my needs for birth control and concerns with my heavy periods. I was able to get my Mirena IUD in my same visit and she explained how that would work and what symptoms I should expect and watch out for in the months after. Highly recommend!

she consistently gives too many tests - she does tests that are not indicated. she prescribes too many pills - pills that are not necessary. she put something in the central file about me - before everything went in the central file - that was damaging and unnecessary. she recommends not the best doctors - but those who need the money.

she gives too many tests - tests that are not indicated and that she believes will not show anything. she is better than she used to be. she recommends doctors who need the money, not the best doctors. the doctor i saw that she recommended was below the caliber of doctors i like to see and her office was so badly run that i could not get a prescription filled. dr. poley also spends too much time talking to me . i think the GYNs are now trained that they will not be sued if they become friendly w

There are not enough good things to say about Dr. Poley. I had my first visit with her today after being referred by my pcp. Prior to today, I had only been to an obgyn one another time and it was the most traumatic experience ever. However, Dr. Poley was gentle, cautious, and didn't pressure me into anything i didn't feel comfortable doing. This time around, Dr. Poley was able to successfully perform an exam. I am so glad my pcp referred me to her!

The nicest, sweetest doctor I have ever had- great bedside manner. She cared for me during 4 pregnancies, and she was wonderful- extremely patient, great listener, takes the time to explain things, reassuring, NEVER makes you feel like she is rushing you put the door. Gives you a lot of time. Very knowledgeable about all things OB/GYN. Took extremely good care of me during pregnancies and c-sections. Is not stingy with testing if you have concerns, either. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER!!
