She was aggravated that I wanted to be discharged and said that she had patients that were much worse than I that she should be seeing. My point exactly…look at my labs and sign off. She didn’t even need to make the trip to my room. When she did she never explained my labs or why I was kept in the hospital so long. She was merely focused on how much work she has to do and that I was disrupting that. The rest of us also have work to do so we would like to leave when we are better so that you have one less patient and so that we can get back to work too. Seems like a great excuse for the hospital to make more money by keeping patients here longer.

Let me start off by saying that I am not a person who normally takes time to write negative reviews. However, I feel that our interaction with this doctor warrants some kind of warning to others. She was my dad's hospital physician when he had covid (making good progress). But her heartless words and actions discouraged him (and us) greatly. She made it known that she had no regard for unvaccinated individuals and made several comments to that effect. When my mom asked about my dad's condition, she cut off or said "why do you need to know that?" and talked to her like an absolute dog. Her words, actions and the way she communicates with patients is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. To say she has abhorrent beside manner would be a compliment. I have personally never encountered a physician who was this openly prejudiced, rude, condescending, and mean. Can't believe Novant Rowan allows her to care for patients and I intend to make sure her superiors know what kind of person she is. Inexcusable.
