Do Not Recommend for First Baby
I would not recommend seeing Dr. Thies for prenatal care of it is your first pregnancy, you have lots of questions, or you want concerns addressed. She is very direct and to the point, hadn't seemed to have familiarized herself with my file before appointments, and dismissed a lot of my concerns point blank that were addressed right away when I switched doctors.

I am highly upset and disappointed in the service I’ve been receiving from Dr.Theis. I am currently 29 weeks pregnant and have literally only seen her in clinic once. Every appointment that I have had scheduled I’m sitting in the waiting room over 30 minutes past my appointment time just to never see her. I am a high risk pregnancy and have so many concerns. Due to my work schedule I don’t have a lot of time to sit and wait so Im forced to leave. Today the same thing just happened and I’m super emotional and upset about it. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to her as her scheduling is way off and no one communicates what’s going on unless you constantly get up and ask after waiting way past your appointment time ????.

My son was a scheduled induction yet she did not show up to deliver him... I was pretty disappointed although the doctor who did deliver him was great. Dr. Thies is not a bad doctor I just didn’t feel she explained things well or spent a lot of time actually checking on me. It was my first baby and majority of my apppointments I was in and out in under 10 minutes.

My first visit at 35 weeks ( moved from out of state) went ok. The one the week after that started to go down hill. First when she entered she would talk to me as if I was a different patient. Wrong due date and everything. They tested my thyroid and with the call with results was told doctor Thies prescribed medicine. My next appoint come around again wrong due date, and has no knowledge of me being prescribed medicine. She even asked me what dosage! In the last weeks even when requested she did not perform any cervical checks. I am now 3 days away from my c section, and I have zero trust or faith in her capabilities. The office and nursing staff is amazing. I have nothing against them. Polite and friendly. My only issue is with the doctor. She won’t even look you in the face. Please find a new doctor for your pregnancy. I hope mine even shows for the surgery.

She is the best ever doctor in Women's Health care. She has delivered my 3 babies and takes care of me now as a regular patient. Honest, to the point, tells yous options, easy to talk to. Goes above and beyond my expectations for a physician. She is very popular for these reasons and if your a new patient it can take a month or two to get in. But she is worth the waite!

If you want to do your annually checkups I do recommend Dr. Thies, if you are pregnant get another doctor. The good thing about dr. Thies is her cool and easy going personality. But I feel sometimes she gets too easy going about her patients. For example, I was scheduled to induce and she didn’t show up until I asked nurses for her constantly.

I started seeing Dr. Thies after she delivered our second granddaughter and she's going to deliver our grandson next month. I really liked how she kept a cool demeanor when my daughter had complications during labor and had to have an emergency C-section. She's very nice, professional but she can still joke around & have fun. She's very honest and straight to the point. I wish I'd found her sooner. FYI-Unless your pregnant it can take a couple of months to get an appointment.
