Warning! Terrible doctor
Extremely poor bedside manner. She refused to listen to my symptoms and instead insisted on a diagnosis that no other doctor nor my previous rheumatologist agreed with; nor did my lab testing show this disease. When asked about why she believed I had this diagnosis, her response was shes an “expert” and insisted that I start a medication with very serious side effects. When I said I was uncomfortable with the treatment plan she scolded me and refused to discuss any other alternative options. She was sarcastic, condescending and extremely rude. During my office visit, she left the room twice while I was mid-sentence to take a personal phone call (which she herself told me) and forgot to come back. Eventually I exited the room and the nurse was unaware that I was still there. I had 4 visits with her and found myself very disturbed after each encounter. I was nearly bullied into her treatment plan until I was advised by another doctor to seek a second opinion.

She is arrogant and inconsiderate. She treated me like I was an idiot and did not want to her hear my issues. Just blood tests and medication. I don’t trust her with my health.

A good doctor should be measured by the same standards reserved for 911 operators, firefighters, police officers and any other profession that involves the health and well-being of human beings who seek help and rely on the ecology they belong to. With this being said, TORIBIO is one of the WORST rheumatologists I have ever encountered: when she walked into the room, there was no salutation. She flopped down in her chair and had an air of apathy that was the epitome of what it means to treat a patient as though invisible. She consistently made patronizing comments, interrupted/talked over/challenged every single statement I made about MY experience. She constantly reminded me of who she was and her job description and in a way that was rude, apathetic and narcissistic. In 2-3 minutes, she’d canceled my appt and stormed off. I think when a medical professional loses sight of why s/he entered a field, it’s a sad day. If TORIBIO were on the other end of a 911 call, we’re all in trouble.

When she first started she was very sweet. Once she got her experience about a year later, she did a 360. She has a new look and a new mean and nasty attitude to go along with her new makeup and highlights. I was there on time waiting in that long line. I was only 3 minutes late and the girls at that front desks are also extremely rude, loud, and nasty that they picked up the phone to call her and she denied seeing me. STAY AWAY! DONT go see her!

Wouldn’t recommend this doctor to anyone. Traveled over an hour away to see her. I was there and in line before 11:00 am (my appointment time) and prechecked in. By the time I got to the counter, it was 11:02 am. I was told because I was “2 minutes late” I would not be seen and had I gotten to the counter 2 minutes earlier, I would’ve just had to sign one paper and be seen. I waited over a month to be seen by her, only to be turned away. If I could give her zero stars, I would. Terrible.

Felt rushed, she didn't ask me any questions. She made it seem like I was there for no reason and was wasting her time. I had been referred for true medical problems and she didn't address any of them and was walking out the door talking. As a matter of fact, on initial meeting the first thing out of her mouth was "did you refer yourself or did a physician refer you here" She told me she could order whatever tests I wanted but they were all going to be skewed bc I have hashimotos.
