Patient's Time Not Valuable
Had an appointment today. Got there 15 minutes early. Left after waiting 1 hour without being called. This was my second visit. Same thing happened on my first visit. I assumed it was a fluke the first time around, but it seems this is the doctor's S.O.P. I wish her well, but I work for a living, and can't be wasting an hour or more in a waiting room every visit.

Pleasantly surprised.
I very much appreciated how thorough my initial consultation was. The front of the office was a little disappointing, however the nurses technician were very professional and competent. Lab results were presented in a timely manner and follow ups are fast. I was hesitant in switching doctors, but due to insurance changes I had to. I am glad I made the right choice.

Great Dr and staff!
Dr. Wies solved my issue with open pressure sores and they have not been a problem since. The office staff is the nicest I’ve ever experienced. I am so happy Dr Wies was recommended and will keep her as my primary from now on.

Dr. Weis has been good to me, blame the hospital system's greed for limiting patient visits to 15 minutes per patient, this is one reason why my other doctor left ETMC. I know this first hand from Dr. Lisa Graves.

I strongly disagree with the people who gave Dr Wies 1 star. I have been a patient of hers for 4+ years; in that time, she has proven to be caring, knowledgeable, and efficient. The day I was diagnosed with cancer she called and had me come in the next day, just to see how I was doing. In regular appointments, she takes time to talk, asks about current meds, concerns, and the like. She deserves 5 stars+

I have been a patient of Dr Wies for approximately 10 years. She is the best! She listens and is very concerned about resolving any issues or concerns. Her military background makes her a no non sense physician. Straight to the point and I truly value that.

No I would NOT recommend Dr. Wies!! First (and will definitely be the last!) visit....Abrupt. Callous. I was in there less than 5 minutes, she was in and out 3 times and told me to go to lab. I left confused and with no way of knowing where to go to get CT scan (I told her I have pancreatitis)...she never called Dr that she referred me to because she didn't want to take the time to listen or help me. CT scan was obviously not scheduled. The WORST Dr visit I've ever encountered. She is extremely rude! The office people and nurse were great....

I had my first visit with Dr Wies June 1, 2020 having been referred by my previous doctor who moved away. Dr. Wies entered the room, never introduced herself, and began scolding me for not being on Fosomax that had been previously prescribed. She continued to scold me and ask me questions as to why I wasn’t taking calcium and Vitamin D, etc. The visit was abrupt, harsh, and uncaring. She never asked if I had any health concerns, nor show any personal interest in my health care. She was with me approximately five minutes and I was left with unanswered questions and concerns, and confusion regarding getting results from my blood work that came following my office visit.

I have been a 'patient' of Dr. Wies for about 1 1/2 years. During that time she has done only medication refills & referrals for medical issues. She knows NOTHING about me as a patient or as a person. Today I had a fasting labs & office visit, including prescription refills. I take meds for heart, blood pressure, low thyroid cholesterol and chronic pain. Dr. Wies threatened me, attacked my intelligence and integrity and treated me like a drug seeking junkie. She told me the medication SHE had me on was a controlled substance and that I could go find a doctor on any street corner that would "write me a script" and that She would make sure NO doctor in the UT system would ever see me as a patient. If she knew ANYTHING about me she would have known how stupid and wrong she was. I asked how I was supposed to know that changes were made on March 1, 2020, which she screamed at me, when 3 months earlier it had been handled differently. She continued to scream and threaten, so I left

I have only known Dr. Wies a few months as I have always used my blood doctor for my primary. But, when I got this new insurance I was forced to get a real PCP so I chose Dr. Wies out of approved pcp on my plan. I saw her for the first time about 18 months ago and to be honest, I wasn't very happy about having to see her or share with her. I think she felt it as she was very warming and chatty, and, before I knew it, I was opening up to her about my health. Good doctor and eager to help you.

She is friendly and caring. She takes the time to listen to your questions and problems, and then tries to solve them. You do not have to wait long to see her and appointments are easy to make. The staff is courteous and friendly. I trust her decisions and how she handles my problems. Dr Wies answers your questions in a way that you can understand and explain your medical problems clearly.

Dr. Weis only cares about money and referring her patients to other more qualified specialists. She does not even take the time to listen to your chest with her stethoscope, much less even touch you. I have never been to such a non-caring doctor in my life.
