Dr. Karien Campbell, MD

I am an older male. I was referred for a mammogram and ultrasound of a breast lump. I've never before had that experience. The technicians, whose names I cannot recall due to my nervousness, were wonderfully kind and professional. (I think they were Vanessa and Melissa but not at all sure. I could barely remember my own name at the time with the worry.) I do recall Dr. Karien Campbell's name as I was surprised that she came in to tell me about the diagnosis. I thought I would only receive a written report after the fact so when she appeared I made sure I saw her name tag. She showed me the images and told me what they meant. She explained that my condition was not cancer, and was perhaps due to some long term medication. Her delivery was kind and direct. I thank her and those wonderful technicians. I also encourage any man who finds a lump or growth in his breast tissue to not delay. Get it looked at. Hopefully by these fine people.
