Dr Ulstrup is one of the best doctors in Chicago area. I have been seeing her for over 6 years ow. She listens her patience well, provide good options for treatment, educate her patients how to stay healthy. I would suggest people to see her if they get an opportunity.

Dr. Ulstrup is a wonderful doctor. Kind, knowledgable. I've been seeing her for over 15 years. But since she changed her office location (2 days a week downtown and the rest up on the North Shore) it is impossible to see her. Even when I make an appointment in advance, meetings seem to suddenly appear on her schedule, and she has to cancel my appointment. It always seems to be an ordeal when scheduling a new appointment, also requests for lab tests, and test results seem to be delayed or not occur. I have to call and ask and ask. I think she has more patients that she can handle without proper support from her staff. Because of not being able to see her easily for a yearly check-up, or when I get sick (every 3 years or so), I will have to find a new doctor. . . with sadness.

Dr. Ulstrup has been my physician for many years. She is kind, compassionate, trustworthy and careful to listen and track from visit to visit. She is extremely knowledgeable and keeps her patients up-to-date on relevant research. It is comforting to know she is in my corner whenever there is a medical problem. Extremely accessible and will find time if she believes I need to come in for a visit. Rarely ever a wait time, not that I would care. She is the consummate professional.

Dr Ulstrup is not my primary doctor, but she is her partner at Northwestern Medical. Twice in the last two years my primary was unavailable, and I consulted Dr U. She is fantastic: smart, charming, knowledgeable, professional, thorough. Each time she gave me good advice and service. Has a good nurse too. I see her at Glenview Center. She also has an office in Streeterville. I’m going to recommend her to my daughter who lives downtown.

Dr. Ulstrup came highly recommended to me when I moved to Chicago and was looking for a new GP. During our appointment for my annual physical (scheduled months in advance), I enjoyed meeting Dr. Ulstrup and found her to have excellent bedside manner. Unfortunately, when I came down with an ailment later in the year and needed to be seen again, I couldn't make an appointment with Dr. Ulstrup for weeks. Due to this difficulty in scheduling an appointment when I was sick, I would not recommend her.

I learned more about my health in one visit with Dr. Ulstrup than I have in years of visits with other doctors. I can't even begin to explain how thankful I am that I found her. She asks lots of questions and gives lots of thought to what could be causing your symptoms. She listens. And she takes the time to explain everything. She really is a great doctor and I highly recommend her.
