Dr Boyd is not "Miss Personality" by any means, but I never doubted her intelligence or qualifications. She treated me for an aggressive breast cancer and answered questions I had. Her bedside manner is rather lacking, considering the emotional sensitivity of those she treats. She just seems to not be an emotional person in general. But I was treated well by Dr Boyd and her nurses, both of whom are very caring and concerned. If you need hand holding and hugs the entire process, you might choose to look elsewhere. There were times I felt I had to pry info out of Dr Boyd and even a few times over the months where I felt that a question I had annoyed her somewhat. But overall, I would be treated by her again if I had a recurrence.
