Dr. Schultheiss made us feel like we had all the time we needed to answer all of our questions, and no question was dumb. He was thoughtful in his answers and very kind. There were 5 of us in the room, and all of us liked him very much.

Dr. S. is caring and knows his stuff. He helped guide me through a critical health emergency and life is much better now.

Recently treated by Dr. Schultheiss fir a metastatic lung cancer tumor attatched to my right upper humerus bone, just under the shoulder joint. I am now three months out from surgery and doing very well. Dr. Schultheiss is very knowledgeable and informative. He is also excellent in co-ordinating with doctors with other disciplines to achieve a great result. Never met a doctor who is more dedicated.

Prognosis was 12 to 15 months when the neurosurgeon removed the first (glioblastoma IV) tumor November 2020 at St. Alphonsus. (The doctor in the ER at St Luke’s didn’t think my son would make it through the night.) Dr Schultheiss is using Temodar and an OPTUNE device. Second tumor removed January 2022. Dr Schultheiss and team’s dedication paid off. This visit was part celebration (cancer free since August 2022) Dr Schultheiss “LIKES” good news! Back to business (abdominal abscess has finally healed unrelated to glioblastoma) re-start Avastin Infusion. (Avastin Infusion had to be be stopped to allow for healing of abscess) February 8, 2023 Schedule Labs, Dr Schultheiss & Avastin Infusion. Back on track every two weeks.

Brilliant hematologist. I have a complicated bone marrow condition that is causing profound polyneuropathy. My neurologist said there was nothing more she could do. Dr Schultheiss has taken a special interest in my case and has proposed IVIG infusion therapy. I have had two and have seen some improvement. He has gone beyond just being a treating provider and has taken a scientific interest in my condition. All the nurses in the infusion clinic speak highly of him.

Routine hematology check every six months. Very short but sufficient.
