Dr. Karthik Shastri, MD

Dr. Shastri is an all-around great doctor and surgeon. He is wicked smart, but explains things in an easy-to-understand way. His demeanor is calm, reassuring, and patient, especially with someone that has a million questions. I’m very glad I got recommended to see Dr. Shastri for my procedure. He’s a perfectionist in the best way, and I’m very happy with the results and quality of care I’ve received. Thank you!

Instead of discussing options, he jumped at the opportunity to do an invasive surgery that has permanently ruined my face. I needed a doctor who wants the best for his patients, but instead I was rushed into a procedure that detrimentally subtracted from my looks. There were no pre-surgery instructions or post-surgery care, indicative of how little you matter to them. My life is now divided into before the surgery when I looked beautiful, lively, and young, and after now I look dulled, saggy, and lack all the facial cohesion I had before. Arguably the primary role of a cosmetic surgeon is to say no when needed, rather than indiscriminately perform face-ruining surgeries for the money. If he wanted my money so badly, he could have had it. I would’ve much rather just given him thousands of dollars to tell me the truth, that I am a terrible candidate for the procedure, than actually perform it and mutilate my face forever.

I echo the other reviews left here! Dr. Shastri was very kind and patient before, during, and after the procedure. He has a great attention to detail and made sure to explain everything he was doing in very clear, easy-to-understand terms. In addition, I am very pleased with how the procedure went (I had a septa-rhinoplasty, turbinate reduction, and addressing nasal valve collapse)! All in all, I definitely recommend Dr. Shastri.

Dr. Shastri is an amazing doctor and surgeon. He was extremely attentive, detailed, and understanding. He did a great job at my surgery and I have no complications, can breathe way better, and am extremely pleased with the results, recovery time, and post-op follow-ups.
