Perhaps looking I was looking for someone to blame but this doctor unbelievably diagnosed my wife as possibly being 'lactose intolerant' needing to 'up her fibre content in her diet'. Her stomach problems continued and shortly after her 'lack of fibre' diagnosis, I had to take her to A&E because of her severe discomfort and pain. The duty doctor ordered some tests and what she ACTUALLY had was ovarian cancer. My lovely gentle wife sadly passed away just a year later. He may well have believed what he was diagnosing but to me, it seemed as if he just couldn't be bothered and was going for an easy option. And my wife died. I cant help thinking that if he had called for extra tests, (which US doctors usually love to do) and she had been correctly diagnosed earlier, I feel that my wife MAY have had a better chance of fighting this vile disease. Just be very aware when this man gives you or your loved ones a similar diagnosis, the result could be absolutely heartbreaking as it was for me.

Dr Chan-Pong has performed two Colonoscopy procedures on me and is an excellent caring doctor. However I was informed he has retired as of 2020.

Long wait times, if you dont get the first appointment (which is still a long wait) you could be there for hours. If you have a complaint, he wont address it with you. Go over his head and he will refuse to see you. He disparages his staff to the patients

Dr Chan-Pong is impressive: he takes a great deal of time discussing your problem and explaining your treatment. A dedicated and extremely caring doctor! I highly recommend him!
